Which is better, The Analects of Confucius by Cheng Shude or The Analects of Confucius by Yang Bojun?

Cheng Shude's The Analects, written in the late Qing Dynasty and early Republic of China, is a masterpiece of the Analects of Confucius. All the notes of The Analects of Confucius were adopted, including Bao Xian and Kong Anguo in Han Dynasty, Huang Kan in Wei, Jin and Six Dynasties, Zhu in Song Dynasty, Yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties, Fang and many other Confucian scholars. Every annotation will list the key points and successful achievements of its academic research, and every legal system must be verified.

Yang Bojun's Annotation to The Analects of Confucius is the official annotation of The Analects of Confucius at present. At present, the official Chinese annotation of The Analects is Yang Bojun's, while the English annotation is taken from Jacob. Yang Bojun has a deep relationship with Mr. Yang Shuda, a master of modern primary school (textual research), and his learning method is based on this. His annotations to The Analects of Confucius are intuitive and easy to understand, but his textual research is accurate. Popularizing The Analects of Confucius is a very good work. However, compared with the first two, Mr. Yang Bojun's works are not very conducive to academic research and can only be used as an introductory choice.
