Why are there records of dragons in ancient books?

Perhaps the biological dragon appeared a long time ago and finally disappeared, or the ancient people were in awe of some incomprehensible natural phenomena and regarded this phenomenon as a biological dragon. Therefore, both Chinese and western legends are about dragons.

As the saying goes, there are many wonders in the world. Although it is 2 1 century, we don't really know the planet we live on. Perhaps, in the distant ancient times, there was a dragon, but for various reasons, it was later extinct or disappeared to a higher civilization, so modern people have never seen it or believed it. Therefore, contemporary people think that there is no such creature as dragon, and both Chinese and western legends are related to dragons.

The productivity of ancient society was low, and people lived by the gift of nature. At that time, people worshipped all kinds of natural or supernatural forces stronger than human beings. In ancient times, people always had a kind of awe of heaven and earth. For example, earthquakes, tsunamis, floods and so on all think that God is punishing mankind. So people created the creature dragon ideologically. At that time, people thought that the dragon was in charge of the wind and rain, and it was often used as a symbol of good luck. Therefore, in that era of small-scale peasant economy, people would pray to the dragon for good weather and good harvests in the coming year.

People often say that art comes from life. There are many creatures like dragons in life, such as snakes, and people will reprocess them to create more advanced species than snakes. In the later period, with the development of the whole human civilization and the exchange of Chinese and Western cultures, it is not surprising that dragons appeared in Chinese and Western legends.
