With regard to further studies, Taiwan Province Province ended the university subject ability test in February or so, and from now on, only the designated subjects can be tested. In addition to the grades of specified subjects, many schools and departments have to look at the threshold of subject ability test, so it is a disadvantage not to take the university academic test.
University subject ability test: mainly test Chinese (senior one and senior two Chinese), English (senior one and senior two English), mathematics (senior one and senior two mathematics), nature (basic physics, basic chemistry, basic biology, life science and earth science) and society (history and geography of Taiwan Province Province, history and geography of China, history and geography of the world, the Three People's Principles and citizens).
University designated subject examination:
Liberal arts (group I) mainly take exams: Chinese, English, Math B, History, Geography and Citizenship.
Science (Group II) mainly includes Chinese, English, Math A, Physics and Chemistry.
Science (Group III) Examiner: The second group added a subject of biology.
I don't know what's different from what I learned in Chinese mainland. If possible, I'd better come to Taiwan Province Bookstore and look through reference books to find out what the teaching content is.
General curriculum standards are here, please refer to them yourself.
