What is Puyang’s reputation?

It’s a famous place. Puyang is endowed with unique tourism resources and huge development potential. There are 276 cultural relics and historic sites in the city including ancient tombs, ancient inscriptions, ancient battlefields, ancient city sites, ancient buildings, former residences of celebrities, and revolutionary war memorial sites, including 11 key cultural relics protection units at the national and provincial levels. The main tourist attractions in the city include the ruins of Qicheng, which is called the "United Nations" of the Spring and Autumn Period, the Cangjie Mausoleum and Cangjie Temple, the "Saint Who Created Chinese Characters", the Xuetanggang Temple, the site of Confucius' lectures, and the tomb of Zilu, a famous disciple of Confucius. The sites of the Battle of Chanyuan in the Song and Liao Dynasties are Huiluan Stele and Yujing, as well as Jiangjundu.

Qicheng Cultural Relics Scenic Area

Qicheng Cultural Relics Scenic Area is located in the urban area of ??Puyang City, west of Jingkai Avenue and south of Shihua Road , adjacent to Gucheng Road in the north. The planned area is more than 750 acres.

The scenic area contains the Qicheng ruins, an ancient city wall dating back more than 2,700 years. In 1996, it was listed as a national key cultural relic protection unit. The ancient ruins reproduce the layout of the ancient city with unique shapes.

Currently built are: the majestic Que Gate imitating the Qin and Han style, and the simple and spectacular Zhuanxu Xuan Palace imitating the ancient style. The Dragon Palace imitates the architectural style of the Tang Dynasty and is elegant. In addition, there is a historical exhibition hall that imitates the architectural style of the Han Dynasty, and the Zilu Tomb Temple, which imitates the Ming and Qing Dynasty architecture, has a large area of ??lawn, and various plants are a major feature of the scenic spot. The pavilions, terraces, corridors and houses are scattered at random, and the mountains and rivers complement each other. Here is a giant eagle of Zhuanxu, one of the Five Ancient Emperors, riding a dragon to the four seas. There are 20 statues of celebrities from Puyang dynasties. Zhudingxuan was built to commemorate Xiahou Qi who cast Jiuding in Kunwu. The built Qicheng Cultural Relics Scenic Area is a cultural grand garden integrating Puyang's history, culture, education and entertainment.

Zhongyuan Green Manor

Zhongyuan Green Manor is a large-scale natural ecological park integrating ecological protection, technology demonstration, sightseeing and vacation. The planned area is 72.46 hectares. The theme style of Zhongyuan Green Manor adopts green as the main theme, learns from nature, and pursues natural gardening techniques.
