Other statements about the restoration of ancient books are as follows

When I was in the temple, I went hiking with my brothers one night after class and made an appointment to meet in front of the stupa.

While waiting for someone, I met Miao Qing, who was sitting on a wooden chair under the big tree in front of the prison. She was a volunteer in the temple at that time and would come here to read books every evening after a day's work.

Nothing left and right, chatting.

She pointed to several brothers who were laughing loudly not far away and said, look at you. Even if you shave your hair and look like a monk, you are still loose and have no strict self-discipline of monks.

That's true. At that time, there were more than 100 brothers who became monks together, and many of them came to join in the fun. Master Jing Shan, who is in charge of leading us, often tells us to observe the precepts, always be alert, maintain dignity and respect others.

Master Jingshan always smiles if she looks like a lake. When he smiles, his eyebrows are bent, like a crescent moon on the horizon.

Miao Qing said that Master Jingshan is very kind to you, but he is strict with volunteers.

Yes, I have seen him severely criticize the volunteers who made mistakes. Another time, when we were carrying scriptures in the Buddhist scripture building, an old woman (layman) came over with a thermos and insisted on bringing us water. Master Jingshan also sternly refused, full of anger, and asked the old woman to leave as soon as possible. ...

The Buddhist scripture building is an important place, and not everyone can easily enter it. Secondly, ancient books are very old, and once they are stained with water and dust, the losses are immeasurable. Master Jingshan is good at restoring ancient books. Naturally, he is careful everywhere for fear of damage.

Self-respect bodhisattva heart, don't lose king kong glare.

Miao Qing asked, have you ever heard of the phrase "treat three times"

I shook my head and listened to her-

First-class people can fight and scold, because they have wisdom roots, and they can have an epiphany after drinking wine;

Second-class, you should fight, and you should scold;

Third-class people can't beat and scold, they must be greeted with smiles, because they are too fragile inside and can only be carefully cared for.

Miao Qing asked, "Master Jingshan is very friendly and polite to you. Do you know why?

02

If someone is nice and polite to you, it's not because you are great, but because the other person is great.

I asked Master Jingshan that it must be very troublesome for so many of us to disturb one after another.

He said that everything is practice.

When I read the Diamond Sutra, I read "Bodhi, tolerant of paramita. Do not contain paramita, it is paramita ... "

I suddenly realized.

Buddhism talks about six degrees and ten thousand lines. Six degrees refer to: giving, keeping precepts, enduring humiliation, diligence, meditation and prajna (I think this is also the order of gradual practice).

Giving is giving up, which not only refers to the external giving of money, clothes and property (this is called external giving), but also includes giving up one's habits and breaking with them (this is called internal giving). Letting go is also giving up, and letting go is also paying.

To observe precepts is to abstain from all evils, to avoid all evils and to pursue all good.

According to Buddhist scriptures, Sakyamuni Buddha appeared to the world with great karma. It is said that in 1949, when he was about to enter nirvana under the double forests of Miluo, Ananda asked four questions. The second question is, "When the Buddha was alive, he took the Buddha as his teacher. When the Buddha entered nirvana, who was his teacher?"

Buddha said: Take precepts as teachers.

Keeping precepts is not to restrain operation, but to practice until the heart is clean and pure. In the final analysis, keeping precepts means "no precepts to keep", because he himself has become a precept, and his words and deeds meet the requirements of precepts.

04

The most difficult practice is actually "swallowing your voice". Humiliation is not just being insulted. Buddhism believes that all unhappiness is humiliation, humiliation is humiliation, birth and death is humiliation, and troubles and pains are humiliation.

To endure unhappiness is to endure humiliation.

Therefore, a purely good master is also our homework, and we regard everything as cultivation. Be patient.

Many times, we consciously have a peaceful mind and practice diligently, probably because when we are "idle", once we encounter anything, our reaction is fiercer than anyone else, and we are furious and furious, and no one can persuade us.

This silence is not silence.

The humiliation mentioned in the Diamond Sutra, like the "practice" mentioned in Yangming's mind, is to join the WTO and constantly hone in real life. People can't stand it, and pedestrians can't stand it.

05

Just a message from a friend-

Give up self-esteem and endure everything.

He said that if you are always angry, you can't handle things wholeheartedly. Please give up self-esteem, learn to be patient, and keep calm thinking even if it feels wrong.

What I said is of great practical significance.
