Dong Zi:
Length of Atractylodes macrocephala: Atractylodes macrocephala and Poria are the right medicine, which is not good for urination and headache caused by drinking water. Atractylodes macrocephala, Poria cocos and Cinnamomum cassia twig are the right medicine to treat dizziness. Atractylodes macrocephala, Radix Aconiti Lateralis Preparata and Ramulus Cinnamomi are symptomatic drugs for treating joint pain. Atractylodes macrocephala and Alisma orientalis are the correct drugs to treat chronic bitter vertigo. The operation is divided into Atractylodes macrocephala and Atractylodes lancea. Large dosage of atractylodes macrocephala leads to defecation, and atractylodes macrocephala leads to defecation.
Atractylodes macrocephala is short of breath: Atractylodes macrocephala is warm and easy to cause inflammation when used in large quantities.
Blue Lotus: The role of Atractylodes macrocephala is not single, but should be considered according to its compatibility. Atractylodes macrocephala combined with Poria cocos is Zhang Zhongjing's most commonly used drug pair for drinking water. Judging from the provisions, their appearance has the following laws. First, urination is unfavorable; Second, inner enrichment; Third, more thirsty; Looking at these three symptoms together, the essence of the disease is that water and drinks stay in the subcardiac area. The lower part of the heart is what modern medicine calls the stomach. Water stays here and cannot enter the small intestine and be absorbed into the blood, resulting in water shortage in the body, resulting in less urine and thirst. Drinking a lot of water does not quench your thirst, and even your stomach is not satisfied and you are forced to spit it out. Water can only stay in the stomach, not in the bladder. However, most of the major urination problems are dehydration symptoms, not bladder or urethra symptoms. Therefore, Atractylodes macrocephala and Poria cocos stop water with heart. The ancients believed that Atractylodes macrocephala had the effect of "promoting fluid production". In fact, Atractylodes macrocephala promotes the absorption of gastrointestinal fluids into the blood and relieves the body from water shortage. Different from nourishing yin drugs such as ginseng, Ophiopogon japonicus, Radix Rehmanniae and Radix Adenophorae. The latter is mostly based on the dry and anhydrous liquid retained in the gastrointestinal tract, which has no great obstacle to the absorption function of the gastrointestinal tract. In addition, the combination of Atractylodes macrocephala and Astragalus membranaceus is mainly used to treat sweating and swelling. According to Shennong's Classic of Materia Medica, Atractylodes macrocephala is responsible for stopping sweating, and Astragalus syndrome is also caused by sweating and swelling, and the compatibility of the two is the joint force. Atractylodes macrocephala combined with ephedra and aconite can also treat swelling, but it is accompanied by pain. Most of the drugs treated by Herba Ephedrae are nephrotic edema, which is a drug to promote renal excretion.
Atractylodes macrocephala is also an important drug for treating dizziness. Please look at Alisma Decoction, Poria Guizhi Baizhu Gancao Decoction, Wuling Powder, Guizhi Shaoyao Mu Zhi Decoction, Zhenwu Decoction and Shufu Decoction in the "near-effective prescription". Prescriptions for treating dizziness in later generations are often combined with Atractylodes macrocephala, such as Banxia Atractylodes macrocephala Tianma Decoction. There is a prescription for treating vertigo in Qian Jin Fang, which also contains Atractylodes macrocephala. The ancients believed that dizziness was related to the upwelling of water vapor. Where did the water vapor live? The most common part is under the heart. Zhang Zhongjing's "under the heart" refers to today's "belly". "There is water vapor under the heart" translates into "too much fluid in the stomach" today. It should be noted that "there is water vapor under the heart" is not a pure pathogenesis vocabulary, but that doctors really detect that more water and liquid stay in the stomach. This abdominal syndrome is the vibration sound in the stomach. Then, what is the internal relationship between "dizziness" in the upper part and the water vapor under the heart in the middle part? The ancient explanation was that "water vapor rushed up". But "water vapor upwelling" is only a philosophical and macroscopic reasoning. What is its essence? The author thinks that the vertigo referred to by Atractylodes macrocephala should be related to gastrogenic vertigo. The mechanism may be that gastric retention fluid stimulates vagus nerve, which reflexively causes cerebral hemorheology disorder and affects cerebral blood supply. Of course, it cannot be denied that Atractylodes macrocephala treats vertigo caused by Meniere's disease, hypotension and cerebral arteriosclerosis. Atractylodes macrocephala is often used with Radix Aconiti Lateralis, Poria and Radix Saposhnikoviae to treat vertigo.
I hope to be a good doctor. Ancient Confucian classics debated whether Atractylodes macrocephala should be used for Atractylodes macrocephala in Treatise on Febrile Diseases and whether Paeonia lactiflora should be used for Paeonia lactiflora. Some scholars even come up with various materials, trying to distinguish the use of Zhongjing from geographical location, historical background and other aspects, but there is no conclusion.
Hu Xi Shu Hu Lao, a famous classic in modern times, advocated changing all Atractylodes macrocephala into Atractylodes macrocephala. I also believed that Atractylodes macrocephala was better than Atractylodes macrocephala when I saw Hu Lao's lecture. Later, I began to understand the original text of Treatise on Febrile Diseases and found that this statement was problematic.
In fact, as long as you are familiar with the original text of Treatise on Febrile Diseases, this argument has long been made clear in the scriptures.
First of all, for "surgery", Zhongjing's original text "August 9, typhoid fever, rheumatism, body pain, inability to spin sideways, no vomiting, no thirst, weak and astringent pulse, mainly Guizhi Fuzi decoction. If people have hard stools and urinate for self-interest, go to Jia Gui Baizhu Decoction. " As can be seen from this article, Zhongjing's operation can treat hard stool. Atractylodes macrocephala can treat constipation if it is used once or twice in clinic, but Atractylodes macrocephala has no such effect, so we can see the application of Atractylodes macrocephala in Zhongjing.
Regarding "Paeonia lactiflora", there is a conclusion in the scriptures that "pulse promotes chest fullness and removes Paeonia lactiflora". Clinically, Paeonia lactiflora is convergent and divergent. Only Paeonia lactiflora will aggravate the symptoms of chest tightness, while Paeonia lactiflora, on the other hand, can widen the chest, so it can be seen that Paeonia lactiflora is used in Zhongjing.
Therefore, I think there is nothing wrong with Lin Yi's correction.

note:
Evidence-based information expression of classical prescriptions: 1. Atractylodes lancea is considered as a dampness-drying medicine in TCM theory, but the word dampness-drying has no objective basis except TCM theory and pharmacology. Judging from this experiment, yes!
First, Atractylodes lancea can cause atrophy of submandibular gland acinus, reduce saliva secretion, cause dry mouth symptoms, and increase drinking water.
Ii Atractylodes lancea can increase the contents of cAMP/cGMP, Na+-K+-ATPase in serum, and the human body will enter an excited state.
Three? Atractylodes lancea can reduce aquaporin -2 in kidney, reduce the reabsorption of water in kidney, and significantly increase urine volume and blood viscosity.
These changes may be the representative biological basis of the theory of dryness in traditional Chinese medicine.
2. The main dry part of Atractylodes lancea is volatile oil, so frying Atractylodes lancea with bran can reduce dryness, and its mechanism is related not only to the decrease of the total content of volatile oil, but also to the transformation of dry components in volatile oil.
Evidence-based information expression of classical prescriptions: Atractylodes macrocephala and Atractylodes macrocephala are generally referred to as two drugs with similar efficacy in ancient medical books, although there is a certain understanding of the difference between their efficacy: "Atractylodes macrocephala is used to strengthen the spleen and Atractylodes macrocephala is used to transport the spleen". However, whether Atractylodes macrocephala is used for deficiency syndrome and whether Atractylodes macrocephala is used for demonstration is still lack of factual basis in specific application environment (patients and prescriptions).
Chailing decoction is the first choice for Japanese patients with autoimmune-related habitual abortion, and has accumulated a large number of clinical studies and successful cases (we will sort out and publish it in the forthcoming fourth edition of Huang Huang Classic Prescription User Manual). The ingredients of Chailing Decoction recorded in Danxi Heart Method are: Bupleurum, Pinellia ternata (soaked for seven times), Scutellariae Radix, Ginseng Radix, Glycyrrhiza Radix, Atractylodis Rhizoma, Polyporus, Poria, Alisma orientalis and Cinnamomum cassia. Two glasses of water and three slices of ginger, fry until one cup, and take it warm. The recommended prescriptions in Huang Huang Classic Prescription User Manual are: Bupleurum 20g, Scutellaria baicalensis Georgi 10g, Jiang Banxia 10g, sun-dried ginseng 5g, raw licorice 5g, Atractylodis Macrocephala 20g, Poria 20g, Polyporus 20g, Ramulus Cinnamomi 15g, Alismatis Rhizoma, Zingiberis Rhizoma 10g, and red dates 20g. Boil 400 ml of soup with 800 ml of water and warm it for 2 ~ 3 times. Take shelter from the wind after taking the medicine and avoid eating cold things, such as drinking hot water to make yourself sweat slightly, which is better. When Dr. China used Chailing Decoction, he often used Atractylodes macrocephala. There are two kinds of Chailing soup in Japan, namely Atractylodes lancea (Tsumura Company) and Atractylodes macrocephala (Kracie Company), which are called Atractylodes macrocephala and Atractylodes macrocephala in this paper. In the past, the research on habitual abortion in Japan used Atractylodes lancea prescription.
Here's what this study does:
The researchers included 52 patients with immune-related habitual abortion (who showed positive antinuclear antibody (ANA) or anticardiolipin antibody (ACLA), and thought that it was very likely that the above autoimmune factors caused the fetus to be rejected by the mother, which led to habitual abortion). Atractylodes macrocephala was used first, and the autoantibodies did not decrease after more than two months, which was considered invalid. After a two-week elution period, the curative effect was observed in February.
The researcher made a very detailed curative effect statistics, and found that Atractylodes prescription has a good curative effect, which can reduce the autoantibody titer of some patients and make them successfully conceive and give birth. But what is more noteworthy is that the effective rate of Atractylodes macrocephala as a "rescue therapy" is very high, even higher than that of the first-line Atractylodes macrocephala, which means that only by changing Atractylodes macrocephala into Atractylodes macrocephala can the curative effect be significantly improved. (See the table above for specific figures)
Atractylodes prescription down-regulates IgG and Atractylodes prescription down-regulates IgM. It is suggested that the traditional Chinese medicine prescription should be selected according to the characteristics of autoantibodies.
Although syndrome differentiation was not considered in this study, after the study, the effective cases of Atractylodes macrocephala and Atractylodes macrocephala were analyzed and compared, and it was found that the digestive tract deficiency and deficiency syndrome of Atractylodes macrocephala were more obvious. Perhaps we can also distinguish Atractylodes macrocephala from Atractylodes macrocephala through these two points.
To sum up, through the clinical practice of Chailing Decoction for Atractylodes macrocephala and Atractylodes macrocephala in treating habitual abortion, it is found that the curative effect of Atractylodes macrocephala may be better than that of Atractylodes macrocephala, especially for patients with dyspepsia, deficiency syndrome and abnormal ACLA-IgM.
Dong Zi: He suffers from dizziness, complaining of dizziness. He feels dizzy both during exercise and during consultation, or his symptoms are mild during exercise and severe during rest. The proportion of Atractylodes macrocephala is greater than that of Alisma orientalis, and the effect is better.
