Matters needing attention in planting Schisandra chinensis

Schisandra chinensis is a kind of traditional Chinese medicine which mainly uses fruits as medicine. It is recorded in ancient books that Schisandra can excite brain nerves. Many stimulants contain ingredients of Schisandra chinensis. At the same time, it can treat common cold, cough and other problems, and also has a certain degree of blood pressure lowering effect. There is a great demand for Schisandra chinensis in the market, and someone needs to plant it. So what should we pay attention to when planting Schisandra chinensis? Let the pro-agriculture network tell you about noodles.

1, planting time

Be sure to pay attention to the planting time of Schisandra chinensis, because the temperature of Schisandra chinensis can not be too high or too low during its growing period. So we usually sow in the spring of each year, that is, in March and April, and then transplant from early May to mid-May. Of course, there is another transplant at the end of September. These two dates are very suitable for Schisandra chinensis, but the sowing time must be in spring, otherwise Schisandra chinensis can grow normally, although successful seedling raising will occur in other time periods.

2. Seed treatment

The seeds of Schisandra chinensis are wonderful, that is to say, they can germinate under low temperature and little rain, but the temperature of the growing environment should not be too low, so when sowing, we will soak the seeds in cold water for two or three days, then soak them in gibberellin solution for one day, and finally take them out and wash them with water for about three times. Finally, mix some wet river sand evenly, wrap it in a wet towel and bury it in the ground, and white buds will grow in about ten days.

3. Fertilizer and water management

Because Schisandra chinensis has strict requirements on the growth environment, it needs to pay great attention to fertilizer and water management, especially water management. Schisandra chinensis is very afraid of drought during its growing period and needs to keep the soil moist frequently. Secondly, I am afraid of waterlogging. In rainy season, we have to drain the surplus water in the field, so we usually water it once every five to seven days. The flowering and fruiting period of Schisandra chinensis needs more water than usual, so it usually takes three to three days. Schisandra chinensis grows slowly and needs regular fertilization, that is, diligent fertilization. During the whole growth period, leaves need the most nutrients when they grow. An average acre of land needs 10 to 20 kilograms of farm manure and 5 to 10 grams of phosphate fertilizer. The second time, 15 kg potassium fertilizer and 10 kg phosphorus fertilizer were needed to promote fruit ripening.

4. Seedling management

Seedling management mainly needs to pay attention to three aspects: scaffolding, pruning branches and leaves and weeding. In the second year after transplanting, the seedlings of Schisandra chinensis will grow faster, so in order to maintain the most reasonable density, we usually set a bracket next to each Schisandra chinensis, and then tie it with a rope to let it crawl along the rope. As for pruning branches and leaves, it is also for the density of fields and increasing yield, so it is done every spring and autumn. Generally, we will cut off some old, weak and sick leaves and let them grow. Finally, in order to maintain the permeability of the soil, we will plough and weed regularly.

5. Disease control

Generally, every disease of Schisandra chinensis is leaf blight or a small number of leaf rollers. For leaf blight, we can usually prevent it by pruning and cutting leaves. At the initial stage of the disease, Bordeaux mixture can be sprayed three or four times continuously. However, we can only spray the leaf roller moth with trichlorfon solution or dimethoate solution, but it must be noted that no pesticides can be sprayed half a month before the fruit is harvested.
