1, Ningbo Museum
Ningbo Museum is one of the key cultural projects in Ningbo during the 11th Five-Year Plan. It is a comprehensive museum with regional characteristics, which mainly displays Ningbo's human history and art. The museum covers an area of 30,325 square meters and consists of three parts: theme exhibition, special exhibition and temporary exhibition. The museum has a rich collection, ranging from the prehistoric Hemudu culture to the bronze wares, porcelains, bamboo carvings, jade articles, calligraphy and painting, gold and silver wares, folk customs and other cultural relics, which can better reflect the historical context and artistic characteristics of Ningbo city.
2. Tianyi Pavilion Museum
Tianyige Museum is a theme museum with Tianyige as the main body and collection culture as the feature. Covering an area of 26,000 square meters, it consists of three functional areas: library culture area, garden leisure area and exhibition area. It is a national key cultural relic protection unit and a national key ancient book protection unit. 1994, Ningbo Museum and Tianyige Cultural Protection Institute merged to form Tianyige Museum.
3. China Port Museum
Short for "Gangbo", the full name of Ningbo China Port Museum is located at No.6 Gangbo Road, Xiao Chun Street, Beilun District, Ningbo City, Zhejiang Province. China Port Museum is a large-scale high-level port museum with the theme of port culture officially named by the State Council. It integrates the functions of exhibition, education, collection, scientific research, tourism and international exchange, and embodies the internationality, professionalism and interactivity.
4. Yuyao Hemudu Site Museum
Located at the foot of Siming Mountain with beautiful scenery, on the north bank of Yaojiang River. It consists of a site exhibition hall with a building area of 3,200 square meters and a site exhibition hall with an area of 23,000 square meters. It is a patriotic education base in Zhejiang Province, a civilization museum in Zhejiang Province, a national excellent patriotic education base and a national 100 patriotic education demonstration bases.
5. Ningbo Gang Museum
Located in zhenhai district, Ningbo, at the southern end of Hangzhou Bay Bridge and the end of Zhoushan Liandao Bridge, it covers an area of 70 mu with a building area of 24,000 square meters. It mainly consists of a museum and a hall. It was completed and opened on June 22, 2009.
