This book is Mr. Ren Jiyu’s annotation and interpretation of Laozi, the most important classic of the Chinese nation. The author writes a highly general summary and central idea before each chapter of the original text of "Laozi"; he annotates the key points and difficult-to-understand words and phrases in the original text one by one, and attaches the collation results of famous writers in the past; the translation is accurate, fluent, and Standardized and easy to understand. The author's translation and annotation of "Laozi" began in 1956.
