Specialty Construction of College of Fine Arts and Design of Tianjin Normal University

The college currently has three departments:

Painting Art Department: It consists of Chinese painting teaching and research section, oil painting teaching and research section, watercolor painting teaching and research section, printmaking teaching and research section and theory teaching and research section.

Art Design Department: There are visual communication teaching and research section, environmental art teaching and research section and animation teaching and research section.

Department of Fashion Art: There are fashion design teaching and research section, fashion performance and image design teaching and research section.

Art: academic leaders Professor Shi Zengyou, Qi Zhanzhong, Li, Jiang. Chinese painting art, oil painting art, printmaking art and watercolor art.

Design Art: Professor Huamei, the academic leader, and Sun Shipu and Gao Jinsuo, the tutors. There are three directions: clothing culture and clothing design creation, advertising design and communication effect research, and comparative study of Chinese and foreign designs. Huamei Clothing Culture Research Institute was established on June 9, 2003/KLOC-0. It is a scientific research institution named after Professor Huamei, the founder of clothing culture. Professor Huamei, Dean of the College of Fine Arts and Design, is the director, and Associate Professor Yao Bin, head of the Department of Fashion Design Art, is the deputy director, who comprehensively presides over the daily work. The members of the institute are well-known experts engaged in the research of clothing culture at home and abroad, teachers, researchers or media editors and journalists who love or engage in clothing culture, and graduate students of Professor Huamei who are currently teaching in universities all over the country.

There are four textbooks for the 11th Five-Year Plan of China: History of Clothing in China, History of Western Clothing, costume aesthetics and Introduction to Clothing.

Tianjin philosophy and social science planning project "Introduction to Costume Culture", Tianjin Ancient Books Publishing House published ministerial-level "Eleventh Five-Year" teaching materials, Tianjin philosophy and social science planning project "Modern Costume History of China", China Textile Publishing House published "Costume and China Culture" won the first prize of Tianjin social science achievements in 2004, and its costume teaching won the first prize of Tianjin, the teaching achievement of national colleges and universities. In 2006, "Ancient Costume Archaeology and Cultural Relics Research in the 20th Century" won the third prize of Tianjin Social Science Achievement. China Logo Design Research Center of Tianjin Normal University was established on May 23, 2003, with Professor Mou Yue, a professor from the School of Fine Arts and Design and a member of the National Urban Construction Standards and Technology Committee, as the director of the research center. To undertake national and ministerial scientific research projects and the "Tenth Five-Year" national planning textbook project of general higher education of the Ministry of Education. This is a national standard-setting unit.
