Chongqing Three Gorges University Library 1994 was formed by the merger of Wanxian Normal University Library and Wanxian Education College Library, and was renamed Chongqing Three Gorges University Library in 2000.
The library is rich in books and complete in categories, covering social science and natural science. There are more than 35,000 large-scale ancient books such as Sikuquanshu, Continued Sikuquanshu, Series Integration, China Southwest Literature Series, China Minority Ancient Books Integration, Yongle Grand Ceremony, Four Series, Ancient and Modern Books Integration, Shi Minglu, Qing Shi Lu and Dunhuang Treasure.
