Brief introduction of Huang Gongxiu's characters

Huang Gongxiu was born in a family of Confucian doctors and was gifted. Since childhood, she has a soft spot for medicine. He looked for medical books and devoted himself to studying them. Whenever there is "one meaning is unclear, one meaning is not reached, search is exhausted, and traction is miscellaneous, all of them are deleted ..., and he will never follow suit, arguing that the disease must first understand the pulse, the treatment must first recognize the medicinal properties, especially pay attention to practice and explore the truth." He is rigorous in his studies, practical and willing to work, and has treated many patients with difficult diseases all his life, and has achieved fruitful results. He was a physician during the reign of Qianlong, and studied carefully all kinds of medical monographs, secret recipes and prescriptions collected by the imperial court. It's not that the past is too thin for the present, nor that the present is too thick to abandon the past, but that it's seeking truth from the disease, medicine from the disease. Despite his in-depth study of pulse science, he still advocates four diagnosis and reference, and opposes single diagnosis of pulse condition. In addition to clinical symptoms, according to the classic medical books, participating in the theory of famous doctors in past dynasties, and combining with clinical experience, I wrote three volumes of Seeking Truth from Pulse, Seeking Truth from Materia Medica 10, two volumes of Seeking Truth from Materia Medica (also known as Jinfang Medical Records) and five volumes of Seeking Truth from Medical Records (also known as the General Record of Seeking Medical Treatment).

The book "Seeking Truth from Pulse" introduces the location of pulse diagnosis and the main symptoms of various pulse conditions in detail, and demonstrates the views of various factions. According to his own experience, he annotated New Four-character Pulse, Song of the twelve meridians and Song of Eight Veins in Strange Classics, and attached a Brief Note on Pulse Diagnosis, which briefly discussed some important issues in pulse diagnosis, which was a reference material for studying and studying pulse diagnosis in traditional Chinese medicine. This book and his New Pulse should be easy to understand and reprinted many times after liberation.

Huang Gongxiu's impression of cursive script at that time was "unclear in reason and meaning", and the situation was "unable to make up the true meaning, unable to argue directly, or thinking that it was attached every other time, thinking that it was empty." Efforts were made to correct the drawbacks of the times, collect the usual experience, and adopt the essence of a hundred schools of thought, thus writing 10 "Seeking Truth from Materia Medica", which was written by Fu Zi during the Qianlong period. Materia Medica Seeking Truth is a monograph on pharmacology. The book is named Qiushi, because the meaning of medicine is "everything is miscellaneous, everything is simplified, so that the truth can be seen clearly". It is a summary of Compendium of Materia Medica, which has a wide influence, is concise and practical in clinic. Book *** 10 contains 520 kinds of commonly used drugs, which are divided into several categories according to their nature. The morphology, taste, efficacy, compatibility, preparation methods and the relationship with various diseases of drugs are described in detail, which is convenient for readers to analyze and compare the properties of drugs and is an important reference material for the study of traditional Chinese medicine. After the founding of New China, it was reissued many times.
