Zhonghedian 1

One of the three halls outside the Forbidden City in Beijing belongs to the traditional palace architecture in Ming and Qing Dynasties. Located between the Hall of Supreme Harmony and the Hall of Baohe in the Forbidden City. It is the place where the emperor rested before attending the ceremony in the Hall of Supreme Harmony and accepted the worship of the deacons. Whenever the emperor offered personal sacrifices, such as the Temple of Heaven and the Ditan, he would read a congratulatory message in the Zhonghe Hall the day before. Before the pro-agriculture ceremony is held at the altar, seeds and farm tools should be tested here.

2. Xianyang Palace

Xianyang Palace was originally located in the north platform of Xianyang City, Qin Dou. In the process of Qin Shihuang's unification of the six countries, it continued to expand. According to records, Xianyang Palace was "built for Beiling", which was the place where Qin Shihuang was in power and "listened to politics". Xianyang Palace covers an area of 3.72 square kilometers, which is five times that of the Forbidden City in Ming and Qing Dynasties.

3. Epang Palace

Epang Palace, known as "the first palace in the world", is a new dynasty palace built by the Qin Empire, the first unified multi-ethnic centralized country in China history. Located in Wang Si Street, Fengdong New Town, Xixian New Area, Xi, Shaanxi Province, it was built in the thirty-fifth year of Qin Shihuang (the first 2 12 years).

Epang Palace, the Great Wall of Wan Li, the Mausoleum of Qin Shihuang and the Way of Qin Dynasty are also called "Four Major Projects of Qin Shihuang". They are the first unified landmark building in China, and also the physical symbol of the beginning of the formation of the Chinese nation. They served about 700,000 people before and after. East to the west bank of Zaohe River, west to ji yang Village in Chang 'an District, west to An, south to Heping Village and Dong 'aoli in weiyang district, and north to Zhang Che Village and Houweizhai in weiyang district, with a total area of 15 square kilometers.

4. Weiyang Palace

It is the palace where emperors used to sleep in the Western Han Dynasty, the most important palace complex in Chang 'an, and the power center of the empire. The emperors ascended the throne, held ceremonies and held important court meetings here, and many important historical events took place here.

After the Western Han Dynasty, it was ruled by Xin Mang, Western Jin Dynasty, Zhao Qian, former Qin Dynasty, later Qin Dynasty, Western Wei Dynasty and Northern Zhou Dynasty. * * * As the main hall of more than 30 emperors in ten dynasties, it has been used for more than 360 years and survived 104 1 year. It is the palace with the most dynasties and the longest existence in the history of China.

5. Palace of Gathered Elegance

Located in the east of Xianfu Palace and the north of Yikun Palace, one of the West Six Palaces of the Forbidden City in Beijing is a palace building built in the Ming Dynasty and the residence of concubines in the Ming and Qing Dynasties. Palace of Gathered Elegance rests on the top of the mountain, with an eaves, the width of five rooms and a front porch.

During Xianfeng period of Qing Dynasty, Empress Dowager Xiaoqinxian (Empress Dowager Cixi) once lived in Palace of Gathered Elegance Houdian (now Lijingxuan) after entering the palace, and lived with the emperor in this life. After the abdication of the Qing Dynasty, Wan Rong once lived here and integrated western elements into the decoration and furnishings.
