Eight Transformations of Guru Rinpoche’s Mantra

The following are introduced one by one:

One of the eight transformations of Guru Padmasambhava: Guru Padmasambhava, the Padmasambhava who combines all knowledge.

The second of the eight transformations of Guru Rinpoche: Pema Gyalpo, the Guru Padma Raja who ruled the three worlds.

The third of the eight transformations of Guru Rinpoche: Guru Dorje Drollo, the wrathful Guru Rinpoche.

The fourth of Guru Rinpoche’s eight transformations: Shakya Senge, possessing thirty-two wonderful signs and eighty kinds of good deeds. Guru Rinpoche went to Bangladesh and became a monk under the name of Barbahadi Guru, named Sakyamuni. He received the Eightfold Practice of Tantra from the Eight Great Vidyadharas, the Illusion Net Tantra from the Buddhist Tantric Master, and the many Sutra and Tantra teachings, mainly Dzogchen, from the Master Risamha.
