Six Chapters of a Floating Life is an autobiographical prose written by Shen Fu, a native of Suzhou in the Qing Dynasty. The author Shen Fu was born on November 22, Guiweidong, Qianlong reign of the Qing Dynasty (December 26, 1763), and his death year is unknown.
"Six Chapters of a Floating Life" is a six-volume book, divided into "Records of Joy in the Boudoir", "Records of Leisure Interests", "Records of Sorrows in Ups and Downs", "Records of Wandering Travels", "Records of Zhongshan Calendar" and "Records of Zhongshan Calendar". Health Care Notes". Yang Yinchuan, a native of the Qing Dynasty, accidentally bought an incomplete copy of "Six Chapters of a Floating Life" from a cold stall, and this book has been passed down to this day. However, the last two volumes have been lost, leaving only two-thirds of the whole book. However, the fifth volume "Zhongshan Ji Li" and the sixth volume "Yang Sheng Ji Xiao" have materials proving that they are fake works. Even so, these last two volumes are very interesting to read regardless of logic.
Since I went to school, the first classical Chinese article I learned was an excerpt from Shen Fu's "Six Chapters of a Floating Life": "I recall that when I was a child, I could open my eyes and look at the sun..." From then on, I became familiar with those difficult-to-talk people. "Zhihu Zheye" has formed an indissoluble bond.
Now that seven or eight years have passed, looking back, the innocent and young Shen Fu has stayed in the long river of memory. Instead, there is the experienced Shen Sanbai, who has experienced half a lifetime of vicissitudes. Standing across the yellowed tissue paper, he hid his face for a long time, sighed, and walked away.
The taste can only be understood in books.
1. What a blessing it is that I will never leave you
After reading "The Music of the Boudoir", the sentence that has been lingering in my mind for a long time is "What a blessing it is", what a blessing it is that I meet you you.
Shen Fu and Chen Yun have known each other since childhood. Yun Niang is innocent, gentle, beautiful and intelligent. More importantly, she truly loved Shen Fu. She hid porridge for him, fasted for him when he had acne, made him a "plum blossom box", smoked tea and boiled water for him. Ordinary vegetables became magical once they were in her hands. delicious. Not only that, she is also proficient in embroidery, and can also accompany Shen Fu to discuss poems and books. She often has wonderful ideas. Shen Fu's gatherings with friends are not expensive but extremely fun.
Perhaps God is really jealous that this beautiful couple cannot go all the way to a happy ending.
Later, when Yun Niang was dying, she held Shen Fu's hand, her breath was dying, and the deep affection between the words still makes people cry when reading it today: "...Recalling Concubine Sings Sui Er Thirteen years ago, I was wrongly loved by you. I was considerate of everyone and never gave up on my stubbornness. I knew myself as well as you and got a son-in-law. I have no regrets in this life."
But when Yun Niang returned to evil, Shen Fu ignored her. The friend dissuaded her and insisted on going indoors to see Yun Niang again.
Shen Fu later said: "Today, the sky is on the opposite side, the wind and clouds have dispersed, and the broken jade and incense are buried, and I can't bear to look back."
At that time, the couple was living abroad due to family matters, and Yun Niang passed away on the day , Shen Fu recalled: "At that time, there was a solitary lamp, no one around me, two empty fists, and my heart was broken. This hatred has its ultimate end!"
"Ting" with Gui Youguang There is a loquat tree, which was planted by my wife the year she died, and now it is as tall as a canopy." Comparing them, they are both equal and can be said to be extremely affectionate.
Huang Liang has a dream, and his life has not rested. How lucky he is to be with you.
2. The mountains and rivers are pleasant and the clouds are passing by.
The opening chapter of "Six Chapters of a Floating Life" reads: "On the 22nd day of the 11th month of the lunar month in the reign of Emperor Qianlong of Guiweidong, it was the right time. In the age of peace and prosperity, I am living in a well-dressed home by the Canglang Pavilion in Suzhou. It can be said that the heaven is so kind to me. Dongpo's poem says: "Everything is like a spring dream that leaves no trace." "It's so thick."
Shen Fu was born in the Yiguan family. The nearby Canglang Pavilion is one of the four famous gardens in Suzhou. It is the oldest among the existing gardens in Suzhou and was built by Su Shunqin of the Song Dynasty. It can be seen from this that Shen Fu's innate literati temperament, elegant taste, and speech cultivation are not only related to family education, but also to the environment in which he grew up.
The environment with a free and unrestrained temperament has also nurtured a free and uninhibited person like Shen Fu: "Life is full of ups and downs, why should it happen? It is often the fault of one's own fault. I am not the same, passionate and committed, straightforward and uninhibited , turning cause into effect."
He is fond of landscapes and gardens, and he is also a painter and poet. He naturally has a taste for aesthetics. He does not like the famous mountains and rivers that everyone praises, but he smiles and says: "Yu Fanshi. I like to have my own opinions and disdain to follow others' right and wrong. When talking about poetry and painting, I always keep in mind that if others cherish it, I will discard it, and if others discard it, I will take it. And those who think they are wonderful."
From his writings, he passed through Suzhou, Yangzhou, Hangzhou, Guangzhou, and Jingzhou, drinking and singing with fishermen, drinking and chatting with loaders, and drinking and dancing with tenants. , having tea and chatting with friends...
A whole life passed by in a daze, and in the blink of an eye, a hundred years have passed.
His life is uncertain. The Epang Palace is cold, the Bronze Bird Tower is deserted, the organs are well understood, and all worries are forgotten. Sighing that Yun Niang has passed away, I cannot relive the old dream of Taihu Lake.
3. A fleeting life, a big dream will come to an end
The latecomers imitated Shen Fu’s tone in "Health Preservation Notes" and wrote: "Since the death of Yun Niang, there has been no happiness. . In the spring morning and autumn evening, I climbed the mountain and faced the water. My eyes were filled with sadness and sadness. "
I know that my life is coming to an end, but it is a pity that I will never see you again, and my life will be empty.
I was watching it in my dream, and I vaguely remember how you said with a smile on your face, "After I get my hair stained, I won't be able to travel far to the Five Mountains, but I can reach Hufu and Lingyan as far as the West Lake in the south." You can travel with us as far north as Pingshan.
I have been looking forward to that day, waiting, waiting... It's a pity that the passing of time has been unfavorable, and I can't hold hands with you until we grow old.
I have been watching, watching for you, this world is endless, watching the morning and dusk in the mountains, and the gurgling streams.
Thinking about what you said, "If you can't do it in this life, look forward to the next life." I smiled, thinking about your smile, and gently closed my eyes.
From now on, it is noisy and noisy, and I don’t know when I will wake up from the dream.
