Curriculum objectives generally include universal objectives, behavioral objectives, generation objectives and performance objectives.

(1) A universal goal is a general educational purpose or principle based on experience, philosophy or ethics, ideology or social and political needs. These purposes or principles are directly applied to the curriculum field and become universal and normative norms in the curriculum field. This goal is characterized by equating general educational goals or principles with curriculum goals, so it is universal, vague and mandatory, and can be widely used in all educational practices. (2) Behavior goal is a curriculum goal expressed in a concrete and operable way, which indicates the behavior changes that students have undergone after the course and teaching process. (3) Generative goal is a curriculum goal that is naturally generated with the development of the educational process in the educational context. It is the result of problem solving and the inherent requirement of the growth of human experience. Key words are "process-oriented", such as "naturally generated classroom ……".

(4) Performance goal refers to all kinds of "opportunities" of students in the educational situation, as well as each student's personalized creative performance. This is a goal orientation put forward by American curriculum scholar Eisner. It aims to cultivate students' creativity and emphasize individuality, so it goes beyond the existing cultural tools and helps to develop culture. Key words "emphasize students' personalized behavior", such as "talk about feelings, feelings after reading, try painting and performing".

What are the basic characteristics of curriculum objectives?

(1) integrity. The curriculum objectives of all levels and types are interrelated, not isolated from each other.

(2) stage. Curriculum objectives are a multi-level and all-round system, such as primary school curriculum objectives, junior high school curriculum objectives and senior high school curriculum objectives.

(3) sustainability. The curriculum goal of senior grade is the continuation and deepening of the curriculum goal of junior grade.

(4) hierarchy. Curriculum objectives can be gradually decomposed into general objectives and sub-objectives.

(5) Progressive. The junior curriculum goal is the basis of the senior curriculum goal. Without the realization of the junior curriculum goal, the senior curriculum goal is also difficult to achieve.

(6) timeliness. As time goes on, the course objectives will be adjusted accordingly.
