Whose are the ancient works?

Look at autumn from Mencius. Wang can see the end of autumn, but he can't see the salary. What about Wang Xu?

Giving up one's life for righteousness comes from Mencius. Giving up a person's life is also what I want, what I want, what I want. You can't have both, and you have to sacrifice your life for righteousness.

Encourage seedlings from Mencius. In the Song Dynasty, there was a man in Gongsun Chou who praised his seedlings for not growing long, but came home and said that he was ill today to help them grow. His son followed suit and Miao was embarrassed.

There have always been three different views on the author of Mencius: one thinks that Mencius wrote it himself. Zhao Qi, the first person who holds this view, said in the inscription of Mencius: "This book was also written by Mencius, so it is always called Mencius." Later, Zhu Cong, a Neo-Confucianism scholar in the Song Dynasty, demonstrated that Mencius was written by himself. He said: "Looking at seven strokes is like casting, which requires editing." (Zhuzi Daquan) But he does not deny that his disciples participated in the writing process. Yan Ruoqu in Qing Dynasty also thought Mencius did it himself. The second view is that Mencius' disciples Zhang Wan and Gong Sunchou were both described after his death. Han Yu and Zhang Ji in the Tang Dynasty first put forward this view. Han Yu said, "I didn't write this book myself because it doesn't exist. His disciples are Zhang Wan and Gongsun. " Later, Song Dynasty poets Su Zhe and Chao also echoed this view, but they did not give strong evidence. Cui Shu of the Qing Dynasty also held this view. The third view is that Mencius, Zhang Wan, Gong Sunchou and his master and disciples recorded together, and the main author was Mencius himself. Sima Qian, the Taishi Duke, first expounded this view. We believe that Sima Qian's words are credible. He was from the Western Han Dynasty and lived in an earlier era. At that time, he saw more historical materials and heard more rumors than later generations. Indeed, when we look at the time, we can further explain that Mencius was not the same account of his disciples after Mencius' death. Mencius ended his traveling life at the age of 62, and he remained in seclusion for about 20 years until his death at the age of 84. Apart from continuing to give lectures, he didn't spend as much energy as Confucius to collect and sort out ancient books. Moreover, Mencius is a book about oneself and students' speech and activities, similar to modern people writing memoirs. Therefore, the reason why Mencius finished Mencius with students Zhang Wan and Gong Sunchou before his death is valid.
