Yangzhou is the birthplace of block printing in China. Yangzhou, with a history of over 6,000 years of civilization and over 2,500 years of city construction, is one of the first historical and cultural cities in China. There are many world-class, provincial and municipal "non-legacy" projects in Yangzhou, which have always been concerned by the society. Among them, Yangzhou is a pearl in the intangible cultural heritage of the world, which preserves the traditional pure hand-carved printing skills.
Yangzhou Guangling Ancient Books Engraving Society is the inheritor of engraving and printing technology. The China Printing Museum established Yangzhou Guangling Ancient Books Engraving Society Branch, which was named "Guangling Branch of China Printing Museum".
