What are the ancient traditional courses?

Today, when we are sitting in a spacious and bright classroom, we may ask: What are the traditional courses in ancient times? During the period of Emperor Wu of Han Dynasty, in order to consolidate centralization, Emperor Wu vigorously promoted Confucian education and set up imperial academy in Chang 'an. Imperial College was the highest institution of learning in ancient China. In ancient imperial academy, poetry, calligraphy, etiquette, the Book of Changes and the Spring and Autumn Period were regarded as teaching contents, collectively referred to as the Five Classics, and later became the traditional curriculum of feudal education.
