The exhibition is divided into four units:
The first unit, The Legend of Victory, shows Su Shi's circle of friends and the times he lived in through the works of Su Shi and his teachers and friends.
The second unit, "Perilla Poetry", shows Su Shi's literary attainments through Su Shi's poetic works written by later calligraphers and paintings created by later painters based on Su Shi's poetic works;
The third unit, I can't write with my heart, shows Su Shi's calligraphy art and its influence through Su Shi's predecessors' works, Su Shi's own calligraphy creation and later copying Su Shu's works;
The fourth unit, "Human interest is pure joy", shows Su Shi's life interest and attitude by showing his anecdotes, paintings and essays that express his spirit.

The Palace Museum contains Su Shi's calligraphy masterpieces handed down from ancient times, some important works by his teachers and friends, and a large number of related art treasures influenced by Su Shi and reflecting his artistic thoughts.
