Sucrose iron injection is suitable for patients who need intravenous iron supplementation because of the poor effect of oral iron, such as: oral iron can not be tolerated; Patients with oral iron malabsorption.
The active ingredient of iron sucrose injection is iron sucrose. Sucrose iron sucrose iron injection, like all parenteral iron agents, will reduce the absorption of oral iron, so iron sucrose injection can not be used at the same time with oral iron. Therefore, the treatment of oral iron should be taken 5 days after injection of iron sucrose injection.
The pharmacological action of iron sucrose injection is that the nuclear surface of polynuclear iron hydroxide (ⅲ) is surrounded by a large number of non-valence sucrose molecules, thus forming a complex with an average molecular weight of 43kDa. This macromolecular structure can be avoided from being eliminated from the kidney. This complex is stable in structure and will not release iron ions under physiological conditions. The structure of iron surrounded by polynuclear core is similar to ferritin in physiological state. The use of iron sucrose injection will cause physiological changes, including iron intake.
It should be noted that iron sucrose injection can only be mixed with 0.9%w/v physiological saline. Iron sucrose injection cannot be mixed with other therapeutic drugs. Before use, visually inspect the ampoule for precipitation and damage. You can only use those potions that have no precipitation.
Iron sucrose injection should be used immediately after the container is opened: if it is stored in the sun at 4℃ ~ 25℃, iron sucrose injection diluted with 0.9% physiological saline should be used within 12 hours.

Usage and dosage:
Usage: This product can only be mixed with 0.9%w/v physiological saline. The product cannot be mixed with other therapeutic drugs. Before use, visually inspect the styrofoam for precipitation and damage. You can only use those potions that have no precipitation. This product should be used immediately after the container is opened: if it is stored in sunlight at the temperature of 4C-25C, this product diluted with 0.9% physiological saline should be used within 12 hours. This product should be used for intravenous drip or slow injection, or directly injected into the venous end of dialyzer. According to the total amount of iron needed by patients, this drug is not suitable for intramuscular injection or full dose administration. Before the first treatment, new patients should be given a small dose according to the recommended method. Adults should use iron 1-2.5ml(20-50mg) and weight 14.
Adverse reactions:
Rare allergic reaction. It is reported that the following adverse reactions occasionally occur: metallic taste, headache, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, hypotension, increased liver enzymes, spasm/leg spasm, chest pain, drowsiness, dyspnea, pneumonia, cough, itching and so on. Parasympathetic nerve excitation, gastrointestinal dysfunction, myalgia, fever, rubella, facial flushing, swelling of limbs, dyspnea, varicose veins, and venous spasm at the infusion site.
Taboo:
This product is prohibited for: non-iron deficiency anemia. Excessive iron or iron utilization disorders are known to be allergic to iron complexes of monosaccharides or disaccharides.
