1. Set scan resolution correctly.
An important part of using the scanner is to set the resolution of the scanner. How to set the resolution to make the scanned image clearer is very important. Primary users think that the higher the scan resolution setting, the clearer the scanned image will be. In fact, the bigger scan resolution is, the better. Here we need to consider the highest resolution of the scanner itself and the highest resolution of the output device. If the scan resolution exceeds the optical scanning accuracy of the scanner, the output effect will not be obviously improved, and the scanning object should be considered, because different scanning media have different effects on the scanning results. Ordinary text documents can receive the same scanning effect as the original only by setting the resolution of 300dpi. If the scanned object is a color picture or a color photo, you can choose the resolution of 600dpi- 1200dpi for scanning, which can be satisfied whether browsing or printing on the display.
2. Set the scanning mode correctly
The scanning program of a general scanner comes with three scanning modes: black and white, gray scale and color. Users can choose the corresponding mode when scanning different documents, and the black-and-white manuscript can choose the black-and-white scanning mode. Gray scanning mode is suitable for mixed documents; Select the color scanning method for color photos. Choosing different scanning methods will directly affect the scanning speed and the file size after scanning, so users need to choose the appropriate scanning method for different scanning objects.
3. Appropriate batch scanning.
The scanning platform of a general scanner can accommodate multiple color photos, so users can scan in batches. However, before batch scanning, you should choose the appropriate image software. Here I recommend ACDSee, and the number of batch scans depends on the configuration of the computer, because it takes up a lot of memory when scanning. If the computer memory is not large enough, it will lead to no response in the middle of scanning, and even lead to a crash.
4. Reasonable selection of image processing software
As we mentioned before, choosing the appropriate image processing software will greatly improve the scanning efficiency. Although the scanner manufacturer will provide corresponding scanning software in addition to the driver, generally this software has a single function and is not very convenient to use. Some excellent image processing software can search the scanner port accurately and quickly to obtain scanned images, which not only improves the scanning speed, but also has very powerful functions in image processing.
5. Choose a suitable working environment
Because the glass plate, reflector and lens in the scanner are very sensitive to dust and impurities, these impurities will directly weaken the reflection of the scanner, thus affecting the imaging quality of scanned pictures. Therefore, users should try to be in a less dusty environment when using, and ensure that the working platform of the scanner is flat to achieve the best scanning effect.
