The theoretical basis can be found in ancient books such as Tao Te Ching, South China Classic, Huang Tingjing, Zhouyi Shentongqi, Wuzhenpian, Yinfu Classic and Xi Bible (available online). There are two main types of monasticism, one is gradual practice, the other is sudden practice, mainly gradual practice.
1, progressive correction theory.
According to the step-by-step cultivation method, anyone who is not exhausted (before menopause) can cultivate immortality according to this procedure as long as he is sincere about the Tao.
Gradual revision is a gradual process, and the later stage is carried out on the basis of the previous stage. So in theory, the slower the better, the more natural and the closer to the avenue.
Progressive repair is like sailing against the current, so it is a process of repeated. If you fail once, you must go a long way and start over.
In the initial stage of practicing Qi, it is still impossible for a yogi to cut off worldly things. Even if it is cut off on the surface, it can't be practiced all the time, which will be counterproductive. But when you stop, you must tie the boat to the shore. This is to maintain a dilute and peaceful attitude in daily life, not to be happy with things, not to be sad for oneself, not to be thick with food, and not to be sexual with sleep. Gradual practice is divided into life practice and yin-yang practice.
2, the four steps of gradual correction method:
Building the foundation → refining the essence → refining the spirit → refining the spirit to return to the air → refining the air and uniting the Tao.
A. establish the foundation. In other words, practice hard to achieve the "three-all" realm of vigor, vitality and vigor, and create basic conditions for alchemy. B, refining refined gas. That is, the essence and qi are combined into qi, reaching' three to two'. C, refining god, that is, the combination of god and god, so that god returns to god and achieves' two returns to one'. D, refining the spirit is still empty, that is,' practice is not' to reach the highest state of truth by Tao. According to Taoist legend, when Inner alchemy is practiced to this state, it can produce a brilliant elixir as big as an egg in the body. E, refining the virtual Tao, after practicing once, the elixir is successful, but the body is still flesh and blood, and the nothingness of one's own body and the nothingness of the universe cannot be completely and continuously integrated, so further preparations for cultivating immortality are needed. Refining the air and practicing Taoism is the basic skill of cultivating immortals, which is to run the big elixir and derive the small elixir; With the great elixir as the master, the flesh and blood are transformed into the state of combining basic particles. Lay the foundation for the next step of cultivating immortals.
Inner alchemy is the most popular, universal and rigorous method to repair the truth. As we all know, the theory of the first to fourth steps can be well explained by most people. But the fifth step is a secret that the fairy family will not pass on. It is precisely because there are very few practitioners who can produce the great elixir that it is extremely dangerous to practice virtual peace. Without the help of the immortal teacher, it is tantamount to self-destruction. It is not surprising that his achievement method has not been handed down from generation to generation
3, dun xiu method:
Respecting Laozi's inaction and pure cultivation is a hidden fairy among hidden immortals.
Directly into the innate realm, the spirit is still empty from the beginning of practice, but not yet, and after success, it enters a silent period. People who practice meditation are often sages with great wisdom, and people with poor foundation and difficult decisions are not suitable for this method.
Second, fix the truth.
Monarch → Silence → Yuan Ying → Out-of-Body Experience → Distraction → Combination → Du Jie → Mahayana.
The steps to repair the truth are basically the same as those advocated in A Journey to the Mist. The difference is that the cultivation of truth is based on monasticism, and the first step is silence rather than spiritual silence. Besides, distraction, combination and Du Jie are actually a continuous and repetitive process. Every time Du Jie is an important calibration of the previous practice, it will eventually become a Mahayana realm where God is not frightened and the body is immortal, and it will soar to the sky. I won't go into details about the rest.
Third, cultivate immortality.
1, scattered fairy, ghost fairy, earth fairy.
The so-called scattered immortals and ghost immortals are all practitioners who stayed on earth after Du Jie's failure. The scattered fairy body was not destroyed, but it lost some functions, and the structure of yin and yang was destroyed, which made it difficult to bear another natural disaster. Ghost fairy is a yogi, who has lost his body, but his soul is immortal. If he can find a good host (needs the opposite sex), he will double-study with it in the host and eventually form twins.
Immortals are people who are unwilling to ascend to heaven after Mahayana. Generally speaking, virtuous people who are indifferent, simple and natural, and happy-go-lucky, have little interest in the celestial world, are too lazy to soar, have compassion for others, and are willing to stay on earth to help more people fix the truth.
2. Fairy, Jin Xian, Luo Jinxian, Tianjun, Heaven and Earth.
Heaven is actually a small universe and a small society. Various titles of immortals are only different in status, responsibilities and division of labor, and cannot fully explain personal strength. For example, fairchild Jr. around Di Qing is taller than Di Qing himself.
Spiritual cultivation is the universal pursuit of immortals, but the truly brilliant strategy of spiritual cultivation is in the hands of a few immortals. This situation is very similar to the truth of earthly practice.
Fourth, cultivate the spirit.
Spiritual cultivation: understanding of God → transformation of God → God and I → creation → derivation → prosperity → expansion → emptiness → destruction → origin → reincarnation.
The realm of divine knowledge:
Shenjue (God sees God, God listens to God, God smells God, and God touches God) → Shen Zhi → Shen Zhi
The realm of deification:
It is similar to cultivating immortals and giving birth to babies, except that cultivating spirits is the essence of all things and gives birth to the womb of the universe, so it is the most critical step in the process of cultivating spirits.
Five, nine realms.
That is, God, Immortal, Buddha, Brahma, Spirit, Devil, Demon and Ghost, all nine realms.
Among them, god, fairy and all three realms are interlinked; Buddha, brahman and spirit are interlinked; Demons, demons and ghosts are interlinked. But this is not absolute. All walks of life can reach any realm where great magical powers exist. The nine-day patrol is made up of these creatures with great magical power.
Six or nine days.
The full name is boundless for nine days, or ethereal for nine days, or big Luo Tian, or big magic days.
The legend of the ethereal nine days was created by the ancient supreme god-the virtual emperor-Buddha, but because of its long history, there is no historical data to test.
Today, there is no world for nine days, and the descendants of the virtual emperor occupy the throne of the emperor. Obsidian claims to be the immortal emperor of bliss saints. Bliss is bliss, but it has nothing to do with saints. He is a tyrant through and through. During his ten thousand years as emperor, he wiped out nine protoss generations, and no one lived to be a thousand years old.
The first person in this book "I" is the Prince of Obsidian-Shun. The name actually comes from the earthly emperors. According to ancient records, Shun is heterogeneous, with heavy pupils, and a pair of eyes has four pupils. That look is really scary. Shun's mother gave him such a name, which means that he will come to mortals and mortal souls.
Seven, bliss.
Elysium is the upper bound of the legendary nine-day world. It is said that there is a person with super powers who directly cultivates to nine days or even nine realms of bliss. However, there is no evidence to support this statement. What Buddhists call Elysium has a different direction and cannot be confused with it.
