How did Guanyin Bodhisattva move from Taoism to Buddhism?

Guanyin Bodhisattva was originally called Cihang in Taoism, and people called him Cihang. He is one of the original Buddhist 12 Jin Xian. In order to avoid disaster, the founder of Mahayana Buddhism was allowed to enter the west and later converted to Buddhism. After 10 cycles, she became a bodhisattva, but the last one happened to be a woman, and she became the Guanyin Bodhisattva now.

Buddhism believes that avalokitesvara is a bodhisattva with great compassion, and all victims only need to recite its name, "Bodhisattva can watch its voice immediately" and rescue themselves, hence the name. In the Tang Dynasty, Li Shimin's name was taboo, so he changed the word "world" to "Guanyin" for short.

Guanyin Bodhisattva is one of the four great Buddhists in China. According to legend, his birthday is February 19, enlightenment day is June 19, and nirvana day is September 19.
