Ask the calligrapher for an answer.

1. Do you wet your pen with clean water before you write? If so, the floating ink will be very dark at the beginning of writing, but after the floating ink is used up, the water in the pen will dilute the ink and the color will fade. You can dip it in ink first, then scrape it in the inkstone until the pen tip does not drop ink after lifting it, and repeat it several times.

Practice on waste paper, use up the remaining ink in the pen, and then dip it in ink to write. It usually doesn't get shallower.

If the writing ink is always shallow, it means that there is too much water in the ink, which is not suitable for writing. Sometimes after writing, the ink is dark before it dries, and then it becomes light after it dries. You need to change the thicker ink before writing.
