Liu Jianming’s resume

Liu Jianming, whose courtesy name is Yuyuan Xiaozu, is from Jiyuan, Henan Province, the hometown of Yu Gong. He is currently a director of the United Nations Calligraphers Association, vice chairman of the Chinese Calligraphers Association, vice chairman of the Chinese Art Calligraphers and Painters Association, vice chairman of the Chinese Calligraphers (Hong Kong) Association, a member of the Chinese Calligraphers and Painters Association, a member of the Chinese Calligraphy Art Association, and a member of the Chinese Culture Association of Henan Province. Director of the Promotion Association, member of the Henan Provincial Calligraphers Association, and a specially appointed calligrapher by the Henan Provincial Calligraphy Court.

Jiyuan is separated by a river from Luoyang, the ancient capital of the Nine Dynasties. The Yellow River gave birth to Chinese civilization. Liu Jianming was deeply influenced by the Taoist culture of Wangwushan and the strong historical literati atmosphere of the ancient capital of Luoyang. Influenced by historical calligraphers, Liu Jianming has been passionate about calligraphy since he was a child and often goes to Luoyang to study and watch calligraphy exhibitions. On the basis of learning from Ouyang Xun in regular script, Zhang Xu in cursive script, Huai Su, Zhao Ji Qianzi Wen, and Aixinjue Luo Qixiang, Liu Jianming focused on inheriting and innovating the art of calligraphy. He has his own unique ideas about calligraphy. With his own insights, the courage to break through constraints and creative thinking, he is especially original in writing the big characters of the list, especially in the artistic fonts and glyphs. He combines the art of calligraphy and the art of Chinese ink painting, and skillfully integrates them into one, making the list Calligraphy not only retains the elegance and elegance of traditional Chinese calligraphy, but also combines the charm and artistic conception of Chinese ink painting. The pen and ink are full, white and natural, and the concise and elegant brushwork brings spiritual enjoyment to the appreciators.

More than 10 of Liu Jianming’s calligraphy and artistic font works have been reviewed and approved by the China Copyright Protection Center and have been registered with the National Copyright Administration of the People’s Republic of China.

Liu Jianming often participates in international and domestic calligraphy exhibitions, and his works have won awards in the 9th Philippines, China, Japan, and International Calligraphy and Painting Competitions. Liu Jianming's works have been given as gifts to international friends in more than 30 countries including Taiwan, South Korea, Japan, Thailand, Switzerland, Italy, Iran, Europe, America, and South America, and have been collected by them.
