Is there poison in the ink?

Ink is poisonous.

China ink will add industrial chemicals, which is generally toxic. For example, the stabilizer in ink will use sulfuric acid, the preservative will use phenol and arsenic anhydride, and the preservative will use formaldehyde. These ingredients will be harmful to human body if exposed for a long time.

If the inhalation amount is small, it is recommended that you rinse your mouth and wash off the ink as soon as possible, but if the inhalation amount is too large, it is recommended to go to the hospital for examination to see if it is harmful to your health.

The correct way to use ink

When practicing calligraphy, open the doors and windows for ventilation to ensure air circulation and avoid harmful substances being inhaled in large quantities. At the same time, the ink should be cleaned in time after use to reduce the volatilization of toxic components. Waste paper used in practice should also be discarded in time.

Generally speaking, ink is mostly used for writing or painting. There are three common ink colors in life, black, red and blue-black. Red is mostly used for correcting homework, and its use range is relatively small. Black ink is mostly used for practicing calligraphy; Blue-black ink is commonly used in study and work.
