Brief introduction of Baoshan bamboo slips
Baoshan bamboo slips were unearthed in the Chu Tomb of Warring States Period 1987, No.2 Baoshan, Jingmen City, Hubei Province. 278 bamboo slips, bamboo slips 1 piece, including three kinds: judicial documents, divination prayers and sending advice. These bamboo slips are rich in content and clear in age, which provide very valuable information for studying the politics, economy, law, historical geography, writing and calligraphy of Chu and other countries in the Warring States, Qin and Han Dynasties. Chu bamboo slips are mostly seal characters, which are exquisite and powerful, bright in waves, dynamic and unique in style, showing the track of changing seal characters to officials.
