Zhao Lizhi, formerly known as Zhao Ping 'an, 1946, was born in Anyang, Henan. He likes calligraphy and is good at four styles. He is obsessed with the inheritance, innovation and development of ancient flower, bird and insect seals, and is called "the first person to inherit and innovate flower, bird and insect seals".

Bird and insect seal script, also known as bird book or bird book, is a variant of seal script in pre-Qin dynasty and belongs to a special artistic font of bronze inscriptions. It is a special script that prevailed in southern countries such as Wu, Yue, Chu, Cai, Xu and Song from the middle and late Spring and Autumn Period to the Warring States Period. Its name was also listed as one of the "Eight Essentials of Qin Shu" in Xu Shen's Preface to Explaining Words, and it was always used in the Qin Dynasty.

"Bird and insect prints originated in the Zhou Dynasty, and totems were in the Qin and Han Dynasties. This is rare in the Tang Dynasty. " In order to prove the charm of bird and insect prints, Mr. Zhao Lizhi consulted various materials, covering the Han tablet extensively. To his delight, there is a stone tablet in the Remaining Monument in Hengshan, Hunan Province, and a bird and insect print in Youli City, Tangyin. At the same time, he also found that Guo Moruo, a scholar, Wang, former director of the Chinese Teaching and Research Section of Renmin University of China, and vice chairman of the Shanghai Calligraphers Association had a special liking for flowers, birds and insects.

Over the years, Zhao Lizhi, who is obsessed with bird and insect prints, has been constantly in the pool, splashing ink with Chinese characters into bird and insect shapes, and taking advantage of the trend of France, Han, Wei, Jin and Tang Dynasties to integrate into Han monuments. This attempt must be very difficult. Today, his writing and creation of seal script for flowers, birds and insects are as mature as experts, with beautiful shapes and diverse brushwork. From a distance, there are birds in the words. From a close look, there are words in the birds, which are full of vitality. Nie Zhongdong, the pioneer of Nie calligraphy, called Zhao Lizhi's flower-and-bird insect seal: "Strange but not strange, not strange but strange, and the interpretation is considerable."

Zhao Lizhi is indifferent to fame and fortune, and her love and hate are clear. He is keen to participate in social welfare activities, donate calligraphy works to all walks of life, and praise his favorite bird and insect seal fonts. At present, he is a director of China Calligraphers Association, a member of Henan Folk Artists Association, vice president of Henan Painting and Calligraphy Professional Committee, president of Yubei Painting and Calligraphy Institute, and a special calligrapher of Jin Dong Painting and Calligraphy Institute in Jintan City, Jiangsu Province. He was the first news figure who made outstanding contributions to the rise of the Central Plains. His flower, bird and insect seal works have been collected by international friends such as Qi Baishi Memorial Hall, Zhengzhou Erqi Memorial Hall and Yunmengshan Ancient Military Academy. Some of his works were selected into the Invitational Exhibition of Cross-Strait Painting and Calligraphy Exchange and the Painting and Calligraphy Exhibition to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, and were interviewed by People's Daily, China News Service, China Reform Daily, Henan Daily, Charming China Magazine, Henan Science and Technology News and other media.

Bird and insect print is a beautiful font, a note that jumps in nature. May the pen in Mr. Zhao Lizhi's hand sing immortal.
