Most of the new pens we just got are sealed with a kind of glue called antlers for two reasons. First of all, the packing box of the brush is not easy to be damaged during transportation, and the work is more convenient and faster. Secondly, it keeps the brush straight and sharp.
The brush needs to be soaked in cold water or normal temperature water for a long time, and the specific time is not fixed until it is loose. Some people will soak in hot water or warm water, which is not right. Hot water will burn the brush and affect the writing effect. Soak it and get rid of the short hair in the middle.
You don't need to use the brush in your hand immediately. You need to soak the pen in water first, and then soak it in ink for a while. The soaking time should not be too long. The purpose of soaking is to let the ink enter the pen column, which can make the pens get together. This is what we call moistening ink.
After the brush is used, we need to rinse the remaining ink, that is, gently squeeze the residue out of the roots by hand. Don't worry about the brush head falling off. A good brush has considered the purpose of the brush, and only a poor brush will easily break down. After that, it can be packaged in a pen container.
After the brush is fully washed, straighten the brush tip, spin off the water, and then choose to hang it to dry. This is the right way. Remember this, don't put the wet pen into the pen container immediately, because the water from the wet pen will flow into the pen cavity, which will rot the pen for a long time and cause hair removal.
From the production process, there are two kinds of Xuan paper, one is called Sheng Xuan paper, which has strong water absorption and can melt ink without alum treatment; One is called cooked Xuan, which is made of alum. It is hard and relatively difficult to melt.
