Yuan Shikai's son has several children who are descendants introduced by his wife Yuan.

Yuan, whose real name is Yuntai, alias Huineng Jushi, born in Xiangcheng, Henan Province, is the eldest son of Yuan Shikai, formerly known as Yu.

After the outbreak of the Revolution of 1911, he was entrusted by his father to woo Wang Jingwei. After advocating imperial system, he helped his father Yuan Shikai to restore. After Yuan Shikai died, he moved to Tianjin to live in seclusion. He used to be a supervisor of Kailuan Mining Bureau. 1955, Yuan died at home at the age of 77.

Yuan: Yuan has only one son, Yuan, who studied in the United States and obtained a doctorate in geology from Columbia University. His wife is the daughter of Wang Zhanyuan, the governor of Hubei Province. 1930 worked as an engineer in Kailuan coal mine after returning to China, and then went to Suiyuan to take charge of geological exploration. After the founding of People's Republic of China (PRC), China discovered iron ore seedlings in Baiyun Obo and Daqingshan, and later established Baotou Iron and Steel Company, all of which had his credit. In his later years, Yuan taught in Peking University, Beijing Normal University and other schools, and finally became a professor at Guiyang Institute of Technology. 1964 retired and settled in Beijing. In his later years, he lived in Beijing Sijiqing Nursing Home. He died on 1996 at the age of 92. Yuanjia lived the longest. There are five girls and two boys.
