Appreciation of Professor Wang Songyu's Calligraphy (including the interpretation of poems)

Wang Songyu (July 191-25) was a famous calligrapher and landscape painter. Formerly known as Wang Wenxu, the name of Zhai Shi: Ansuge and Yijianlou, from Tianjin.

In 1934, he studied in Zhang Taiyan's seminar on Chinese studies. In 1936, he studied painting from Xinyu Pu (Pu Ru) and Liu Zijiu, the master of Chinese painting, and in 1938, he studied calligraphy from Pu Mogong (that is, Aisingiorro Puxiu). Classical literature was studied by Zhang Taiyan, Wen Yiduo and Pei Huichuan.

? In his early years, he worked in a bank. In 1949, he was a lecturer in China Literature Department of Tianjin Jingu University. Since 1958, he has served as an associate professor and professor of Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts. It can be said that he is full of peaches and plums, and has cultivated famous painters such as Bai Gengyan, Sun Guipu and Yu Jianshi. He was a member of China Calligraphers Association, a member of China Artists Association and vice chairman of Tianjin Calligraphers Association. In Tianjin, together with Sun Qifeng, Pu Zuo and other eight famous old artists, he is also known as the Eight Famous Homes, and he is a famous scholar-type painter and calligrapher who is well-known at home and abroad.

? Professor Wang Songyu's cursive lines are charming, vivid and smooth, full of water and wind, full of elasticity, strong texture and lingering; Its composition layout is natural, without any traces of affectation and careful arrangement. It is white and black ink, refreshing and natural, and the ink color changes naturally, and the shade is dry and wet, which highlights the three-dimensional sense and heavy feeling of the work in the natural change of ink color and the conversion of thick and thin strokes. The layout is generous and decent, and the charm is vivid; Word-to-word, line-to-line, scattered size, dense relationship, up and down connection, left and right interspersed to avoid, all kinds of relationships are handled subtly and appropriately. His works not only exude elegance and tranquility, but also have some leisurely Wei and Jin spirit, and sometimes feel an atmosphere and calmness!

? This work is Mr. Wang Songyu's masterpiece, with the specification of 68x45cmx2, and it is also an honorary work of China auction giant-China Guardian International Auction Company. Wang Lao's paintings and calligraphy are not handed down from generation to generation, so the fine works are more precious. Please pay attention to them. A poem is attached for appreciation, which can be continued by friends who are interested.

? Appreciation of the poem

"Flowers in the sunrise are better than fire, and the river is as green as blue in spring", written by Bai Juyi, a great poet in the prosperous Tang Dynasty-

? Memory of Jiangnan

Jiangnan is good, and the scenery is old and familiar. When spring comes, the sun rises from the surface of the river, and the flowers on the river are brighter than red, the green river green more than blue grass. How can we call people not miss the south of the Yangtze river?

Appreciation:

Bai Juyi once served as the secretariat of Hangzhou, stayed in Hangzhou for two years, and later served as the secretariat of Suzhou for more than a year. In his youth, he roamed the south of the Yangtze River and lived in Suzhou and Hangzhou. It should be said that he had a good understanding of the south of the Yangtze River, so he was deeply impressed by it. When he retired from Suzhou Secretariat due to illness and returned to Luoyang twelve years later, at the age of sixty-seven, he wrote this poem recalling Jiangnan, which shows that the scenery of Jiangnan is still vivid in his heart.

It's not easy to sum up the spring scenery in Jiangnan in a dozen words, but Bai Juyi did it skillfully. Instead of describing the flowers and warblers used in the south of the Yangtze River, he started writing with the river as the center, and through the contrast of "red is better than fire" and "green is like blue", he showed the bright and dazzling spring scenery in the south of the Yangtze River. The two different colors set off each other, making the poetry bright and picturesque.

In Bai Juyi's works, he got the color from the flowers and rivers in the early days, but also formed people's imaginary pictures because of the way of drying, dyeing and setting off. The colors are gorgeous and dazzling, and there is almost no need for more associations. The spring scenery in Jiangnan has come to the fore, which not only supports the infinite admiration and nostalgia of the author born in Luoyang for the spring scenery in the south of the Yangtze River, but also creates a long and lasting charm, bringing readers into the lingering feelings.

appreciation of poems

? "Qian Shan is green when the snow disappears outside the door, and flowers shine on the riverside in February" is written by Ouyang Xiu, a poet in the Song Dynasty-

? West Lake in Spring

? The West Lake is spring, and the spring water is green. If the flowers are rotten, the east wind will fall like a nest. When you join the army, your spring thoughts are like clouds, and your white hair is full of poems. Knowing a bottle of wine on the lake from afar can remember the people of Wan Li in the end of the world. Wan Li's longing for spring is still affectionate, and suddenly he is frightened by spring. "Qian Shan is green outside the snow, and the flowers are sunny by the river in February". Teenagers put wine in spring, and today it is white in spring. The state of things in a foreign land is different from that of people, only the east wind knows the old.

This poem was written in 137 AD. The previous winter, the author went to Yiling as a county magistrate, and he answered Xie Bochu's question. In the poem, I first imagine the spring scenery of the West Lake in Xuchang, and then write out my friendship with Xie Bochu.

The whole poem is divided into two parts based on the sentence "Wan Li". In the first half, the scenery of the West Lake and the feelings of friends are written. In the second half, I wrote about my fresh experiences and homesickness in a foreign land.

"Qian Shan is green when the snow disappears outside the door, and the flowers bloom on the riverside in February", which means that the snow outside the door melts and you can see the green mountains. On the sunny day in February, the flowers bloom on the riverside. The spring scenery in the poem is beautiful and gratifying, and the feelings are sincere and touching. Structurally, it is clear from scenery to people, from scenery to emotion, and then it turns to nature. The language is clear and fluent, with elegant poetic style, which embodies the basic characteristics of European poetry.
