Wang Ting is an important town on the Grand Canal. In ancient times, it belonged to Wuxi, and later it was assigned to Suzhou.
Wang Ting Canal Park is located in the south bank of the canal, with a length of about 1.6km and an area of tens of acres. To the east, there are the pier, Wumen Building in Cheung Chau, Huang Bei Pavilion, Wang Ting Post and some antique buildings for business travel. There is a canal poem tablet gallery in the middle section, which contains more than 100 poems related to the Grand Canal, written by contemporary calligraphers along the canal, and each poem has a QR code next to it.
