There are six kinds of fonts: regular script, running script, cursive script, official script, seal script and Song style.

1, italicized

Regular script is a Chinese character font, with square shape, straight and clear strokes, flexible style and simple writing. Regular script, also known as regular script, original script and official script, evolved from official script gradually, becoming more simplified and more horizontal and vertical. Regular script is characterized by simple strokes, standardized modeling, neat shape and handsome appearance, showing the atmosphere, breadth, massiness and tolerance. Regular script is a commonly used Chinese character font, which prevailed in Qing Dynasty and was also called Qing Style in Japan.

2. Running script

Running script is a writing style between regular script and cursive script, which originated in the late Western Han Dynasty and the early Eastern Han Dynasty. Running script is characterized by fast writing speed, which is easier to identify than regular script, but not as correct as regular script. There are two types of running scripts: running scripts and running scripts. Running script is the rapid writing of regular script, and running script is a font between regular script and cursive script. Running script is faster, but slower than regular script. Running script is unique and beautiful, so it is widely used in calligraphy art.

3, cursive script

Cursive script is one of the handwritten fonts of Chinese characters, which was formed in Han Dynasty and evolved on the basis of official script used for simple writing. The cursive script is characterized by simple structure and continuous strokes, which can be divided into four fonts: Cao Zhang, Jincao, Kuangcao and Hangcao. The artistic appreciation value of cursive script is greater than its practical value, and it is generally divided into Cao Zhang and Cao Jin. Wang Xizhi, Huai Su and Wang Duo, the top ten famous calligraphers in ancient China, are the representatives of cursive script.

4. Official script

Official script is a font evolved from seal script, which changes lines with equal thickness into straight and angular strokes. Its glyph structure is based on horizontal and vertical lines, which is gentle and elegant, neat and lively. Li Shu's brush strokes pay attention to the silkworm head and goose tail when writing, showing the characteristics of neatness, straightness, elegance and flexibility. Lishu originated in the Qin Dynasty and was compiled by Cheng Miao. It reached its peak in the Eastern Han Dynasty, which had a far-reaching influence on later calligraphy. It's called Han Li Tang Kai.
