The beggar’s calligraphy is so good, but I don’t know who he is.

Wu Zhitong (1870-1943), also known as Chengfu and pen name Wu Tong, was often called a beggar in his later years. His ancestral home is Suzhou City, Anhui Province (formerly Suxian County, Anhui Province). As a young man, he moved to Xuzhou with his father. He was very fond of calligraphy and painting. He once worshiped Feng Xu and Li Lan as his teachers, and he learned a lot and integrated them into his own school. The title of the book spread to the north and south of the Yangtze River, inside and outside the Great Wall, and he was known as a "celebrity in civilian clothes". The character "Beggar" looks ugly, silly, and strange at first glance, but becomes very interesting upon closer inspection. In his later years, he absorbed the nourishment of Yan Shu and became more graceful, magnanimous, simple and honest.
