In order to awaken the fun of calligraphy, improve thinking ability and seek China culture, we launched the first "Taihu Cup" calligraphy competition. The activity fully mobilized the enthusiasm of the students and once again attracted everyone's attention to the art of writing. This activity was strongly supported by the leaders of the hospital and the Youth League Committee, and also helped by the Brotherhood. On the eve of the competition, we received a congratulatory letter from Dean Cai and calligraphy works inscribed for the winners. During the competition, Director Zeng of the Art Department also wrote an inscription for the contest.
This competition made the students regain their interest in calligraphy art and love for the cultural treasures of the motherland. It is also one of the focuses of our activities to publicize the importance of calligraphy and let every student know the profoundness of China culture. This activity also makes the calligraphy association team more United and more closely coordinated!
Of course, we encountered some difficulties in the competition, but with the joint efforts of everyone, the difficulties were broken one by one. This has also accumulated a lot of experience for our future activities. I believe that with our joint efforts, the Calligraphy Association will develop better. The community construction of our school will have a bright future!
