Yuanqu includes drama and Sanqu, drama refers to the lyrics of zaju, and Sanqu is a new poetic style, including poems, sets and music in between.
Guan Hanqing, Wang Shifu, Bai Pu and Ma Zhiyuan are the four leading figures of Yuan Zaju. His masterpieces include Dou Eyuan, The Romance of the Western Chamber, Wu Tongyu, Autumn in the Han Palace and so on. In addition, there are ghost stories of Zheng Guangzu.
