The economy of Diji City

Runcheng Town is an economically and culturally developed area in Yangcheng County. It has been harassed by rogue bandits many times. In April 1633 AD, Wang's private troops were stationed here for a time. In the turbulent years of the late Ming Dynasty, three castles were built in Runcheng Town, namely Tuncheng, Liushan City and Dijie City. Unfortunately, Tuncheng and Liushan only have ruins now, and only Dijie City Basically retained. According to legend, Tuncheng Village got its name from Qin general Bai Qi who stationed grain here during the Battle of Changping. It produced Zhang Shenyan, a poet and calligrapher in the Ministry of Official Affairs in the late Ming Dynasty, and Zhang Taijiao, a governor of Zhejiang in the Qing Dynasty. Liushan Village faces Dijie City across the Qinshui River. Although the castle has been destroyed, a large number of Ming Dynasty residences are still preserved in the village. The west gate of the castle is still intact. A couplet hangs on the tower: "The east blocks hundreds of rivers, and the west brings energy." Villagers and tourists going to the Tiantan Mountain Temple must pass under the gate tower.
