In the first year of Chongzhen (AD 1628), Wei Zhongxian committed suicide and was reinstated. He continued to compete with the history of the Wei Dynasty, made meritorious military service repeatedly, and served as Shao Qing in Taibu Temple. Later, he was appointed as the right secretary suggestion, promoted to the left capital suggestion, and was appointed as the right assistant minister of the Ministry of Industry. Eunuch Zhang Yixian tried to contact Gao Wei's private party, but Gao Hongtu politely refused. Sometimes he said that he was ill and missed the assistant minister meeting, so he made an imperial edict, also called dismissal from office, and lived in seclusion for 10 years.
When the Qing soldiers attacked Jiaozhou, Gao Hongtu sold his property to raise funds to recruit volunteers to fight, and helped Guo Wenxiang, the ruler, stay in the city day and night to ensure that the city did not lose. Chongzhen learned that the following year, Gao was appointed as assistant minister of Nanjing Ministry of War, and he was promoted to minister of the Ministry of Finance.
In the seventeenth year of Chongzhen (A.D. 1644), Li Zicheng went to Beijing, and Zhu Yousong, the axe king, proclaimed himself emperor in Nanjing, and served as the history of the Ministry of Rites and a college student in Dongge.
At that time, eunuchs were in power, corruption was rampant, and Hong Gao was extremely anxious. He said that he advocated promoting advantages and eliminating disadvantages, but it was not adopted. Hong Gao turned his soul to ashes and asked for rest, so he was not allowed to seal it. He also gave IV a decree and made his grandson a scholar in China. Gao Li's words were not accepted and he was forgiven four times. Ma Shiying and Ruan Dacheng praised it and allowed it to play. He refused the gift from the axe king.
The situation in Nanming was urgent, and Hong Gao tried to cross the Qiantang River. Liu's plan is that the foreign minister will take refuge in Jiangsu and Zhejiang provinces. After the fall of Nanjing, Nanming ended. Hong Gao Tu died of hunger strike in Huiji. Tomb of Tianjiayao Pavilion in Wangtai Town, Laoshan Mountain.
Gao Hongtu's works include Taigu Tangji, Shu Shu, Yi Zhu Jing Jie, Shi Ji Shi Lun, Outline, On History, Lao Zi Jie, Gao Hongtu's Miscellaneous Notes, Hong Gao's Notes and Notes on Bloody Clothes. Hong Gao's tomb is in the old mountain of Tianjiayao Pavilion in Wangtai Town. The drafts of Ming History, Ming History, National Deficiency and Shandong Tongzhi are all circulated. His works have been handed down from generation to generation, and his calligraphy works have been passed down to this day.
In the forty-eighth year of Wanli (1620), Zuo Guangdou, Yang Lian and others excused themselves, which angered Xizong and deprived him of his salary for two years. Soon, according to the situation at that time, he issued a statement on "Eight Issues of Current Politics", asking the court to use Zou Yuanbiao, Zhao Nanxing and others. At the beginning of tomorrow, Gao Hongtu will be promoted to be a state supervisor in Shaanxi, and Zhang Qing, the eunuch of Wang Fu who oppressed the people, will be arrested and imprisoned according to law.
In the sixth year of the Apocalypse (1626), Wei Zhongxian tried to bring Hong Gao into its sphere of influence, but it never did. Wei Zhongxian ordered the arrest of Zhou Shunchang, the official department minister, and Zhou Zong, the capital. He immediately went to the office and accused him of being a traitor, which angered Wei Zhongxian and made him lose his job.
In the first year of Chongzhen (1628), Wei Zhongxian hanged himself for fear of sin, and the local officials in Hong Gao were reinstated. In the third year of Chongzhen (1630), the picture of Hong Gao shows Taipusi Qing, who moved to the left vice capital for suggestion. In the fifth year of Chongzhen (1632), Gao Hongtu was promoted to assistant minister of the Ministry of Industry. At that time, eunuch Zhang Yixian was ordered to supervise the Ministry, while Hong Gao Tuzhong insisted on not cooperating with eunuch * * *, and he begged for a rest seven times. In the end, he was laid off because he was too ambitious. After Gao Hongtu returned to his hometown, Dumen couldn't get out and devoted himself to writing. His "other business" is in Chiziya Village (now belonging to Nanguan Sub-district Office), with pavilions, flowers and trees, vines and grass, and birds in Qi Fei, which is a beautiful place. During his hometown, Gao Hongtu also bought the villa built by Zhao Ren in Laoshan and renamed it Taikoo Hall, where he completed the collection of poems.
In the fifteenth year of Chongzhen, the Qing army attacked Jiaozhou in the south. When Hong Gao learned of the police situation, he talked with the soldiers about Cai Zhen and others helping the satrap Guo Wenxiang to patrol the city day and night. When Emperor Chongzhen learned of this incident, the following year (1643), he called Hong Gao as assistant minister of Nanjing Ministry of War, and was soon promoted to minister of finance. In the seventeenth year of Chongzhen (1644), Li Zicheng captured Beijing and Chongzhen hanged himself. At that time, Ma Shiying and others, the remaining eunuchs, made the axe king, a mediocre man Zhu Yousong, emperor in Nanjing. Ma Shiying, etc. Being awed by Gao Hongtu's position as a great official in the Three Dynasties, he was widely expected, so he changed Hongtu to a minister of rites and a university student in Dongge. At the beginning of the establishment of the Nanming regime, Hong Gao tried to turn the tide, ignoring eight things of the "New Deal": diligent study, friendship with princes, discussion of worshipping temples, winning the hearts of the people, and forbidding traitors and villains to borrow false words, which involved many aspects of internal affairs and foreign affairs. Unfortunately, eunuchs Ma Shiying and Ruan Dacheng became close friends. They shared Gao Hongtu's political views and tried to exclude them. Ma Shiying and Ruan Dacheng dominated the state affairs, acting arbitrarily and doing nothing. Seeing the tide ebbing, Hong Gao couldn't return to heaven. He listened to the advice of Tan Qian, an aide historian, and didn't make the mistake of the country. He asked for rest several times.
After Gao Hongtu became an official, he still cared about the country. Regardless of his old age and infirmity, he crossed the Qiantang River and wanted to ask Liu to be a foreign aid. When he heard that Nanjing was captured by the Qing soldiers and the Ming family was dead, he had to give up. In the Qing Dynasty, Prince Duo Duo and Mu Hongtu sought fame and fortune, and wrote a letter calling for surrender with coins, which was rejected by Gao Hongtu. Hong Gao lost his home in Tuguo and finally stayed in Huijiye Temple, where he didn't eat for nine days. Shunzhi two years (1645), died of hunger strike at the age of 62. The widowed daughter-in-law and orphaned grandson Gao Xun helped transport the coffin back to their hometown for burial.
Wan Sitong's draft history of Ming Dynasty holds that Gao Hong once recommended Zhao Nanxing to the emperor, but later Zhao Nanxing impeached Gao Hongtu and Gao Hongtu had to impeach Zhao Nanxing again, and there was no resentment. Today, he took an examination of Gao Hongtu's "Playing Shu", and there was nothing to impeach. As a famous historian, Wan Sitong either listened to misinformation or speculated a generation of famous ministers with a narrow mind. This matter is related to loyalty and honor, so I have to mention it here.
Tan Qian, a historian in the late Ming and early Qing dynasties, was a former aide of Tu, a cabinet university student, and was highly valued by Tu and Zhang. He was recommended as a calligrapher and secretary of the Ritual Department in China, and participated in the revision of history.
Hong Guang wrote to Gao Hongtu.
1644 March, Li Zicheng captured Beijing, and Emperor Chongzhen hanged himself in Jingshan Park. In May of this year, Shi Kefa, the minister of Nanjing Ministry of War, consulted Gao Hongtu, the minister of official department, and set up another emperor in Nanjing to restore the country of Daming. He thought it unwise to save the defeat. However, Ma Shiying, the satrap of Fengyang, coveted the achievements of the founding faction, and led the army to take Zhu Yousong, the prince of the axe, to Nanjing. This Zhu Yousong is fond of eating, drinking, whoring and gambling, but he has no talent for governing the country. Shi Kefa and Gao Hongtu were caught off guard, and the ministers urged Zhu Yousong to be the Emperor of Nanming, with Nanjing as his capital and Hong Guang as his title. Hong Guang took the map of Hong Gao as the patriarch, and awarded Shangshu and Tengge University. At that time, the imperial court thought that the map of Hong Gao was more important. However, with the support of his work, Ma Shiying was appointed as the minister of records, and he took bribes from both sources, and hundreds of officials fought for the door. In North Korea, only Shi and Gao dared to compete with each other at that time. Shi Kefa held the relieving power, and Ma Shiying instigated the emperor Hong Guang to send him to inspect four towns in Jiangbei. Although the rest of Gao Hongtu is in the center of power, he can't speak in his own hands and his suggestions can't be implemented. Nanming was founded more than two months ago. Zhu Yousong is extravagant and doesn't care about state affairs. Ma Shiying crowded out Zhongliang, and people inside and outside the court were distracted. The Qing soldiers were eyeing the south, and the small court in Nanming was in jeopardy. Gao Hongtu witnessed the danger of the country, but after repeated protests failed, he resigned angrily.
Let's talk about Hong Gao's resignation. As a veteran of the Three Dynasties, Emperor Hong Guang refused to approve him, so he had to ask for leave to stay at home for illness. One day in May of this year, Hong Guang sent eunuchs to invite Gao Hongtu to the court, and Gao Hongtu once again begged the emperor to spare his life. Hong Guang said: "State affairs have just begun to take shape. How can you leave me? "
Gao Xiangguo crossed the river.
When Hong Guang was in Nanming in May, Hong Gao learned that the Qing soldiers were going south, and he came to Hangzhou Beiguan from Suzhou. Shortly after he stayed, he suddenly heard that Zhenjiang had been captured by the Qing army, and he was even more worried. Zhang Bingjun, a native of Tongcheng, the governor of Zhejiang Province, did not talk about soldiers, but wandered around as usual, with a clear meaning. Zhang Fengxiang, a native of Tangyi, the governor of Zhili, berthed at the Qiantang River, Tu and his staff Tan Qian boarded the ship. During the conversation, Hong Gao Tu Tu and Tan Qian are experienced wizards who can participate in the planning. The prefect ordered Tan Gan to enter the room and asked about the plan of welcoming guests. Tan Qian replied: "It is the duty of the courtiers to welcome the driver. Today, the country is in danger, and the evil in Ma Shiying is well known. If you are angry at home and abroad, you can play it secretly to make it clear. " Governor Zhang said, "Although Mr. Tan's plan is good, how can he resist the Qing soldiers going south?" Tan Qian replied: "In the Southern Song Dynasty, the box containing Han Mao's head was given to Jin Bing in exchange for Xu Jin's withdrawal. I was blocked by Ma Shiying, but now I use his head to apologize to the Qing soldiers. Maybe things have turned around and things are urgent. " Governor Zhang asked again, "What if there are too many drivers when playing in secret?" Tan Qian replied: "If you rush out, it is estimated that there will not be many followers. Even if there are many followers, you will die halfway. Yesterday, Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty went to Shu, and only six armies 1300 people followed him. Why worry about being crushed by the army to which the rear flag belongs? " Governor Zhang refused without a soldier in his hand. Tan Qian said, "The defeated troops in Zhenjiang have fled south. If we recruit them with a piece of paper, will they all become our military forces? " Governor Zhang refused without pay. Tan Qian replied: "It's not too late to discuss the issue of military pay after all the rewards have been paid!" Governor Zhang sighed, "Your plan is very good, but what if the emperor asks you unfortunately?" If this is the case, although the Governor thinks this plan is very good, he never dares to accept his orders.
The next day, Gao Hongtu had no choice but to take Tan Qian across the river and stay in Xiling. I sent my family to the county seat, and Tan Qian and I went to Hangzhou.
Gao Xiangguo entrust an orphan
Tan Qian was once the aide of Prime Minister Gao Hongtu, and was highly valued by Gao Hongtu. Gao Hongtu used to be an official in Nanming, a university student in Dongge, and was born in a noble family. His family was quite rich, but it disappeared after the death of the Ming Dynasty. Before and after the Qing soldiers crossed the river, Tan Qian followed Gao Xiangguo between Hangzhou and the south bank of Qianjiang River. * * * is a good way to discuss state affairs and help the country. At that time, Gao Hongtu only brought a young grandson (Gao Lang's son died young), and later he rushed to Huiji. Duoduo, a handsome young man, heard his name and recruited him with calligraphy coins. Seeing that national affairs were hopeless, Hong Gao decided to serve the Ming Dynasty with his death. Dodo gave him a surrender letter, but he didn't open it at all. After the collapse of the Southern Ming Dynasty, Tu fled to a ruined temple in the bamboo forest outside Huiji City, and died of hunger strike for nine days. On his deathbed, Gao Xiangguo specially entrusted his love for his grandson to Tan Qian, thus saving his children's journey eastward.
The servant of justice wishes three times.
Zhu Yuesan's name has been lost. He is a servant of Gao Hongtu, a great scholar. In the Ming Dynasty, Gao Hongtu lived in a ruined temple in Huiji. When he heard that the country had changed, he went on a hunger strike. His family cried and begged around him, but he didn't respond at all. Three days later, Gao Hongtu opened his eyes and asked for water. At that time, I wished Sancai 12 years old, waited on the side, holding water and saying, "It's lucky that adults can eat and drink, but it's a pity that they have been hungry for three days in vain." Gao Hongtu nodded, then closed his eyes and went on a hunger strike, and died on the 9th. Gao is the nephew of Tu nationality, and became sworn brothers with Zhu Yuesan before the development. He ordered his son Gao Xiucai to call Zhang Zhu, wait for the wine, and kneel like a nephew.
