Sun Mingcun, male, 1937, from xinmin city, Liaoning Province. Graduated from Chinese painting department of Central Academy of Fine Arts. Member of China Artists Association, Deputy Secretary-General of Liaoning Chinese Painting Research Association, special painter of Xinhua Painting and Calligraphy Institute, full-time painter of Liaoning Painting Academy, director of China Painting and Calligraphy Research Department of Liaoning Painting Academy, and national first-class artist (professor). He is good at flowers and birds, landscapes, calligraphy and seal cutting, and his works have participated in many large-scale exhibitions at home and abroad and won awards.
