For such a once prodigal child, he was finally able to spread through the ages and become a generation of saints, showing his conscience and making contributions. Known as the last saint of China, he is Wang Yangming.

His strategy is profound, his trace is wandering, he is hidden in the Guigu, he struggles with the world without dispute, and he wins the battle thousands of miles away through strategic planning. His disciples are all outstanding and extraordinary, and they can all make great achievements. He is the founder of the strategist-Guiguzi.
From ancient times to now, people like Wang Yangming and hate Guiguzi, but they don't know that they all have the same honorific title-sage. Since childhood, Wang Yangming has been determined to be the first thing and a saint, and Yangming's theory of mind has become a prominent study in later generations, spreading for a hundred years. Guiguzi, with the wisdom and ability of saints, made his disciples Su Qin, Zhang Yi, Sun Bin and Pang Juan all become a generation of heroes. On the wisdom of a hundred schools of thought, A Xin admired three people, namely Gui Guzi, the originator of the strategists, Xunzi, the master of Confucianism, and Wang Yangming, the pioneer of neo-Confucianism.
Although Gui Guzi's thought is mainly about lobbying, it is actually a work of tactics and rhetoric. Among his disciples, Su Qin Zhang Yi is a strategist and Sun Bin Pang Juan is a strategist. In the Warring States Period, the development of strategists reached its peak. Some people say that Guiguzi is a Taoist school. In fact, Guiguzi combines the thoughts of Taoism, Confucianism, Legalists, famous artists, Yin and Yang, and military strategists, with vertical and horizontal harmony as the core of the school's thinking, which is the school of birth and entry into the WTO. Guiguzi's thought can not only be used for lobbying, but his disciple Sun Bin is also a leader of military strategists.
Xunzi, with profound thoughts, was the first to put forward the theory that human nature is evil, and his disciples Han Fei and Li Si laid the foundation for the unification of Qin State. For Xunzi's words, they are profound and dare not make arbitrary judgments.
Wang Yangming, the founder of Neo-Confucianism, is known as Lide's theory of mind. His theory of mind is called an outstanding school in the middle and late Ming Dynasty. Xu Jie, Zhang Juzheng, Huang Zongxi and others were all influenced by it. His theory spread to Japan and Korea, and even influenced Saigō Takamori and Beowulf during the Meiji Restoration. Tougou Heihachirou, the Japanese god of war, said, "Worship Yangming all one's life" is the magic of Yangming studies. Such an interesting question has come out. Isn't mind learning knowledge? How can it be used for war?
In fact, Wang Yangming is so powerful because he can preach and teach and dispel doubts when he dismounts, and he can fight in the battlefield and make great achievements when he mounts. His actions to suppress bandits and rebellion against Ning Wang in Jiangxi were even more talked about.
By comparing Gui Guzi and Wang Yangming, we will find that saints are not hung on the wall, and they have all exerted their greatest energy in their respective times. Guiguzi's vertical and horizontal studies can lobby the governors, unite Lian Heng, or lead troops to fight. Wang Yangming's mind can open the altar to give lectures or fight in the battlefield. Why? In fact, the saints mentioned by the ancients are actually the same. They are not hung on the wall, but their thinking is different and their directions are different, but the way of being a saint is the same.
Wang Yangming said that it is highly similar to Neo-Confucianism to eliminate human beings and preserve justice. Self-interest is justice, and mind is reason. Get rid of the selfish desires that blind the heart and return to the true nature of the heart. Wang Yangming also said that knowledge and action are integrated, and that the premise of restoring the original face of conscience is the unity of knowledge and action. Therefore, it is necessary to have a conscience, and Wang Yangming thinks that the purity of the heart is very important. If people don't want to get rid of it, they won't see again. Perhaps Wang Yangming's four sentences teach that "there is no body that is good and disgusting, and there is good and malicious action. Knowing good and knowing evil is a conscience, and doing good and getting rid of evil is a thing." Can explain the problem. The noumenon of the heart is inherently good and evil.
Guiguzi's proposition is to win people's hearts and dominate the world. As the originator of Machiavellian, Guiguzi, like Xunzi, saw the evil nature of human nature. In short, Guiguzi saw the selfish nature of human nature and made use of it, that is, "using selfish desires to make justice". As we said earlier, guiguzi's thinking is integrated with hundred schools of thought's core thought, so will it cause indigestion? No, because Guiguzi looks at people, followed by theory. Every theory is established on the basis of people. Everyone has different understanding, different understanding and different selfish desires, so if it is integration, it is better to use it. For example, some people in Confucianism have a good reputation and despise wealth, while others in Legalism value wealth and despise friendship, etc. Guiguzi is used to expand their selfish desires and use them, while Guiguzi himself is a selfish person, just like a chess player, who is a rational person. Winning or losing is the key.
In fact, Wang Yangming also said, if you have a good heart, you will do whatever it takes. As long as the ultimate goal is good, my heart is bright, and the rest is not important. When Wang Yangming rebelled against Zhu Chenhao, the king of Ning, he used the method of spreading false imperial edicts to recruit troops. In this matter, we found that politics, morality, ethics, public opinion and law could no longer control him. He has become a man with free mind and body, a man with a free mind and a galloping mind. If there is no freedom in the heart and no light in the heart, there is no Wang Yangming.
After reading Guiguzi, many people think that he is a man without moral integrity, and he actually uses people's selfish desires to achieve his own strategy. In fact, in the first sentence of the first paragraph of the first chapter of the book, Guiguzi said, "If a sage in Guangdong is in heaven and earth, he will be the first among all living beings, and he will look at the opening and closing of Yin and Yang with his name and life." Guiguzi has made it clear that the purpose of strategists is to help all living beings guide the way. Guiguzi is a saint at this time, and Guiguzi's heart has reached the realm of inaction, the realm of vertical and horizontal, and the realm of inaction.
There are 1 saints in the eyes of 1 people. From a certain point, Wang Yangming's unreasonable outside the heart is actually consistent with Guiguzi's vertical and horizontal cooperation. One is to eliminate selfish desires, and the other is to use selfish desires. But the most important thing is that they are practitioners, not empty talkers. As a learner, we can't be saints. However, we have selfish desires. If we want to learn Guiguzi well, then the premise is to combine knowledge with practice, learn from things, and make use of people's selfish desires, even human nature, after people want to keep justice and have a bright mind and body. This is the last thing we want to say today, the vertical and horizontal of the heart! Only when the heart is free can it be truly vertical and horizontal, and the true vertical and horizontal heart is like light.
