The person who is called the first person in the history of calligraphy is Xiaozhuan.

Li Yangbing, courtesy name Shaowen, was born in Zhao County (now Zhao County, Hebei Province). His birth and death years are unknown. He was fond of antiquity and good at writing. He served as Jinyun Ling and Dangtu Ling, and was a bachelor of Jixian Academy. In his later years, he served as a general's young eunuch, so Han Tui called him Li Jian. When he was ordered to write, Li Bai went to him and gave him a poem, saying: "When the pen is written, the seal script is sprinkled, and the collapse of the clouds makes people startled. The words are brilliant again, and the five colors are Luohua stars."

Li Yangbing was famous for his seal script in the Tang Dynasty. During the Qin Dynasty, the small seal script was exquisitely crafted, round, pure, thin and strong, which was a major revolution in Qin seal script. He was known as the first person to write small seal script after Li Si, and had a great influence on later generations.
