Hu Shenglei, a famous scholar in Ninghai, writes couplets.

Hu Shenglei, the owner of Ji Garden, is the "three elders in Gou City, namely Mr. Boy Scout Jun, Mr. Wu and Mr. Hu Shenglei" and "Hu Shenglei (19 16-2005), family members of seven cities. He has many pen names, including, Thunder, and Master of Jiyuan. Fate is troubled and the road is bumpy, but he doesn't complain, he is determined, diligent and eager to learn, and insists on writing. He used to be a middle school art teacher, responsible editor of Ninghai county annals, and editor of literature and history materials of Ninghai county CPPCC. He also created many literary works rooted in the local culture, such as Selected Poems of Gion, Collection of Gion, History of Guest Windows, etc. He can be said to be versatile, good at calligraphy, painting and seal cutting.
