Pei Xiu's introduction

Pei Xiu 1(791-864) was a famous figure in the Tang Dynasty. Gong Mei, Han nationality, was born in Jiyuan, Hanoi (now Jiyuan, Henan), and his ancestral home was Wenxi, Hedong (now Wenxi, Yuncheng, Shanxi). From the official to the official department, he was awarded the title of Hedong County and presented to Qiu. Good writing and calligraphy, with Europe and Liu as the Sect. The Monument to the Master of Zen in Guifeng, written by him, looks like Liu Ti, but its style is more charming and vigorous than Liu's. The rubbings handed down from generation to generation of his calligraphy include the Monument of Dinghui Zen Master, which is now kept in Caotang Temple in Huxian County, Shaanxi Province. Mi Fei once commented: "Pei Xiu's intention to write a monument is really interesting and not ugly." According to the Records of Jinshan Temple and other relevant data, Fahai is the son of Pei Xiu, whose common name is Pei Toutuo. When he was a teenager, he was sent to Buddhism by his father Pei Xiu, and he was named Fahai. Pei Gong Pavilion was built in memory of Pei Xiu, a famous figure in the Tang Dynasty. Pei Xiu, a native of Jiyuan County, Henan Province, is knowledgeable, skilled in poetry and painting, and good at calligraphy. When he was in Tang Xianzong, he served as assistant minister of the Ministry of War and took charge of the history of salt and iron, and was later promoted to assistant minister and prime minister of Chinese books. He made great achievements in reforming the accumulated disadvantages of grain transportation and stopping the tyranny of the buffer region. In his later years, he was demoted to the history of Jingnan Festival, devoted himself to the study of Buddhist classics, often passed through Yiyang, and stayed for ten and a half months, reading and chanting at the riverside. Later, people simply built a Peigong Pavilion with a combination of buildings and pavilions among the green hills and clouds, for Peigong to study and stay. Pei Gong was so happy that he couldn't leave. Lang Lang's reading and chanting attracted Xianbailu to stop and listen.
