1. Yiyuan Garden is located at No.4-8, Houbeian, Changzhou City. It was originally the garden of Zhao Xiongzhao's mansion, the top scholar in Kangxi period of Qing Dynasty. There is a mansion in the 28 th entrance, accounting for half of the county school street. Later, Zhao Huaiyu built Fang Yutang, Yunwo, Shuige, Pavilion and other scenic spots here. After the Taiping Army occupied Changzhou, it set up a holy library, where King Chen Yucheng of England had been stationed. On the sixth day of April in the third year of Tongzhi (1864), Li Hongzhang's army captured Changzhou, robbed the sacred library and burned houses, leaving only the head gate, hall and Kuixing Pavilion. In the 12th year of Guangxu (1886), the Garden was returned to the county magistrate Shi Ganfu. The history was rebuilt, and Cai Xiang's book was named "Italian Garden" with the word "meaning" as the forehead. Build walls and divide them into inner and outer gardens by leaking windows. There are flower halls and rockeries in the inner garden, which are divided into four seasons; Outside the garden, there are Yangui Mountain House, Mingyue Gallery, Fish Pond, Pavilion and Waterfront overlooking the stream. Nearby Garden, also known as Jingyuan Garden and Yunjia Garden, was built in the Ganling period of the Qing Dynasty and located in Changzhou Hotel in Changsheng Lane, Changzhou City, which is the most distinctive style in the south of the Yangtze River in the early Qing Dynasty and the late Ming Dynasty.
The near garden is 8 meters long from north to south and 64 meters wide from east to west.
