Eight years ago, the film Let the Bullets Fly, which was adapted from Ma Shitu's novel The Story of the Thief, made Ma Shitu, who was 96 years old at that time, familiar to the public again. After he was 100 years old, in June this year, he published *** 18 volume and 7.03 million words of the emperor's masterpiece "Collected Works of Ma Shitu", which showed his achievements in literary creation all his life. Ma Shitu is also a calligrapher. He began to learn calligraphy at the age of five, mainly in the Han Dynasty. It has been nearly a hundred years. This calligraphy exhibition is the second appearance of his calligraphy works after the 20th14th "Ma Shitu Centennial Calligraphy Exhibition". The calligraphy works on display have never been published, but the money raised from the charity sale will be donated to the Ma Shitu Prize for Literature set up by the School of Literature and Journalism of Sichuan University, just like the last exhibition.

At the press conference, Ma Shitu also shared his "longevity secret" with others. Cancer attacked him twice. He said: "The prince sent someone to invite me, and I asked him to take a letter back: the prince invited me to go, I didn't go, I didn't go!"

Ma Lao is very modest.

"I am a poor writer, not to mention a calligrapher."
