In the early 1970s, he was enlightened before the case of Mr. Zhao Shixing, a famous painter of the Jinting School. Under the guidance of Yu Zhizhen and Liu Lishang, he studied meticulous flowers and ancient and modern landscapes and paid attention to various aspects of artistic cultivation, and gradually formed It has the concept of "writing images, emotions, and spirits, seeking momentum, energy, and environment"; the brushwork of "integrating non-form and non-substantial with immediate form and substance"; style and the rigorous attitude of "painting ten pieces and tearing nine pieces". All paintings strive to reflect the dialectical thinking of philosophy, the rich connotation of literature, and the elegant rhythm of music. The landscape paintings are vast, deep and beautiful, and contain poetic meaning; the flower-and-bird paintings are elegant and clear, and the objects are intuitive; the figure paintings are symbolic and transcendent; the calligraphy is strange, free and graceful.
After becoming a disciple of Mr. Lou Shibai, on the one hand, I deeply studied the elegance and clumsiness of Qi School art; on the other hand, I explored using traditional brush and ink to express the sense of light, texture, perspective and space of grass and insects, so that It flies and sings smoothly, and at the same time, it continues to explore the path of combining detailed description with freehand brushwork, which won Mr. Lou's praise and the inscription "The past is more vivid than the present".
In 2002, "Selected Paintings of Wang Zhongmin" was published.
In 2006, he collaborated with Mr. Lou to publish the album "Ya Ming Tu".
From May 24th to 26th, 2011, as one of the representatives of the Beijing Tourism Development Committee, I went to Germany to participate in the Frankfurt Meetings and Incentives Exhibition organized by the China National Tourism Administration.
Over the years, he has been invited to paint paintings for successive central leaders. Although he is low-key and never public, he still quickly became famous and received rave reviews. Many of his works were purchased by collectors at home and abroad.
