Calligrapher Zhang Zengyu, pen name Hong Wen, whose word is Zhengqing, is from Handan, Hebei Province, 1966, and now lives in Beijing. Thanks to his early family education, he began with Liu Ti and later specialized in the calligraphy of the two kings, especially the preface to the holy teachings. Zhang Xu and Huai Su, cursive writers, have a special liking for Wang Duo, and they can be traced back to the Han and Wei Dynasties, and they are quite accomplished in cursive fonts. In the 1990s, inspired by Sha Menghai and Qi Gong, he widely adopted Bona, blending ancient and modern, seeking natural changes, and watching the ups and downs of his works make him chic, straight and peaceful, not exciting, not exciting, such as a modest gentleman, smart pen and ink, elegant artistic conception and full of strong bookish spirit.
In 2009, he was awarded the title of "100 Painters in China".
He has participated in many domestic and international painting and calligraphy competitions and won awards, and has been invited to Korea, Japan, Malaysia and Singapore for exhibitions and art exchange activities, which has been praised and respected by people from all walks of life. A large number of his works are collected by calligraphy and painting lovers, collectors and connoisseurs at home and abroad.
