What are the characteristics of Xu Wei's calligraphy?

Like his paintings, Xu Wei's calligraphy is bold, dripping, elegant, unconventional and full of heroism.

Xu Wei's Yanghe Tingjie Poetry Fan belongs to a relatively regular cursive script, which is quite different from its usual cursive script. His pen gestures are different, his lines are quite thick, and his natural and unrestrained appearance can be compared with that of Mi Fei, a great painter in the Northern Song Dynasty.

It can also be seen from this work that Xu Wei's cursive script was influenced by Mi Fei, and their calligraphy has the same feature, that is, painting is injected into the stippling and expression of calligraphy.
