Xu Shichang's main contribution

He likes ancient literature and is called the "sandwich" president. I like to collect ancient books. There are 80,000 books in my family, among which there are many rare books in the Song and Yuan Dynasties, such as Yi Qing Ju and Sui Shu Ju, which mean masterpieces in ancient books. The collection is printed with "Mao Zhai Collection Seal" and "Sui Shulou Collection". I also like to collect calligraphy and painting, and there are famous calligraphy and painting works everywhere in my home. Eight volumes were compiled with 1, which is a general bibliography of ancient books collected at home. It was printed with 1935 and recorded more than 7,000 books. Like engraving books, there is a "Xu Donghai book editing room", which mainly collects 257 volumes and dozens of works of the New Yuan History edited by Ke Shaowen. The engraved books are of high quality, and the title page is printed with the words "Tianjin Xu", "Xuetang Engraving", "Jingyuan Hall" and "Returning Farmland Hall".
